Video tip 1: In this short film the fuel cell Mercedes B-Class proves to be a true life-saver for Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson when crossing the Death Valley. Its emissions provided the two with drinking water collected in a tank installed to the car’s exhaust. Daimler also tests its new concept under less extreme circumstances and says its 300 H2 cars running under real-life conditions have already been driven 5m miles.

Pedelec & E-bike test: ExtraEnergy’s bi-annual test of electric bicycles is open for registration. Manufacturers applying until 19th February will qualify for a discount, while the testing is scheduled to begin at 25th March. Tests results will be published in the Elektrobike magazine with a circulation 45,000 copies.
