Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit

The world stage for the urban mobility revolution

Autonomy is an annual event that brings together new mobility players from all over the world onto one platform in Paris. After the success of the first edition in 2016, Autonomy is now positioned as the annual multi-industry event where innovators, cities and consumers meet to change the way we move around. For the 2017 edition, once again at the iconic Grande Halle de La Villette, the B2B and B2G days will take place on 19 and 20 October, and on 21 October the event will be open to the public.

Understanding the urban mobility revolution
Autonomy has developed the “ADESA” framework to help make sense of the mobility revolution, and this stands for: Active mobility, Data analytics, Electric vehicles, Shared mobility and Autonomous vehicles. We believe that these five factors will create a mobility tipping-point in European cities by 2020, reaching critical mass by 2025. The role of Autonomy is to bring public and private stakeholders together to collaborate in creating a safe, healthy and efficient mobility landscape.

Growing momentum in the new mobility ecosystem
Autonomy has already landed 30 strategic partnerships with leading city and transport networks including C40 Cities, ICLEI, UITP and Polis Network. UITP and Polis Network will be hosting member meetings during the event, and delegates working on mobility solutions in London, Manchester, Rome and Budapest have confirmed their participation. Our sponsors include SNCF, Renault, Engie, ChargePoint, Bollore, Allianz, Mappy, ViaID and Vulog.

A total of 180 exhibitors have already booked exhibition space, and these include PSA, Niu, Scoot, Smoove, CityScoot, Volt, and Altermove. Autonomy expects a total of 250 exhibitors, making this the world’s largest and most diverse new mobility community. Autonomy also has a startup program called “Funding the movement”, and this includes pitching sessions with investors from around the world.

Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit

The urban mobility disruption on full display
The “Urban Mobility Summit”, which includes conferences, keynotes, meetups and interviews, is a flagship event of Autonomy 2017. This will become the platform for policymakers, companies and innovators to connect and share their vision of new mobility.

Writers from world-leading publications such as the Financial Times, NY Times, CleanTechnica, Les Echos and Die Welt, will participate as moderators. More than 100 speakers from all over the world, and some of the most influential personalities in mobility, will take the stage. Speakers include George Hotz from Comma.ai, Dominik Schiener from IOTA, Gary Fisher from Trek Bicycle Corporation, and Karen Vancluysen from Polis Network.

To challenge the status quo, Autonomy has shaped an innovative and disruptive conference format:
● The Movers: inspirational speakers share an incredible mobility feat that they have accomplished
● The Connectors: major businesspeople and policymakers debate and collaborate on mobility issues
● The Tool-Makers: four mobility experts teach the audience how to use a specific tool
● The Disrupters: innovators present a disruptive mobility solution that they have launched
● The Experts: mobility consultants interview a key client on a specific theme
● The Meet-Ups: mobility companies organize meet-ups to network with new players
