This means that EasyGo’s charging stations can be accessed via the ‘DKV Card +Charge’ or through the ‘DKV Mobility App’. According to DKV, the Irish charging network from EasyGo offers “convenient and reliable charging wherever drivers need it.” EasyGo’s charging points are located at “national landmarks and prestigious venues” (which is likely less relevant for fleet use), as well as at local businesses. Moreover, EasyGo has significantly expanded the charging infrastructure in rural areas, aiming to enable “more EV drivers to travel the country with greater confidence” – even in more remote regions.

“Integrating EasyGo’s stations into our network greatly enhances our footprint in Ireland, enabling us to better assist our customers in transitioning to more sustainable mobility,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director of Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. “I am very pleased that we can now offer our customers near-complete charging coverage in Ireland.”

The integration of EasyGo charging points is being carried out through the software of GreenFlux, a subsidiary of DKV Mobility. The Amsterdam-based charging software provider recently signed a cooperation agreement with EasyGo. As a result, DKV Mobility’s EV charging network across Europe now spans approximately 938,000 charging points – and it could surpass the one-million mark by the end of this year.
