Tras presentar el Jeep Compass a principios de este año, the carmaker has confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the new Compass First Edition. From launch, the Compass First Edition will be available in two variants: a 145 hp e-Hybrid combining a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 21kWh electric motor, and a fully electric version delivering 213 hp and 345 Nm of torque from a 74kWh battery.
In addition to these models, Jeep plans to expand the Compass range with a PHEV offering 51 miles of electric range. Moreover, it will also offer two all-electric variants: a two-wheel drive version offering 230 hp and up to 402 miles of range, and a 4WD electric version capable of 372 miles (all WLTP pending).
The Compass First Edition comes in six exterior colours, with Hawaii green as standard. A body-coloured roof is standard, with an optional black contrast roof. The hybrid rides on gloss grey 18-inch alloys, while the BEV sits on 20-inch black machined wheels.
Inside, the vehicle benefits from a 550-litre boot capacity and a 34-litre front storage area. Cabin tech includes a 16-inch infotainment screen, a 10-inch digital cluster, dual-zone air conditioning unit, heated seats and wheel, and Level 2 autonomous driving features. The BEV also features pre-conditioning and a heat pump as standard.
“New Compass is set to redefine expectations in the most competitive passenger car segment, which accounts for almost a quarter of the total European market, with a full range of powertrains to give customers freedom of choice and to meet every need,” the carmaker stated.
