Concedieron una subvenci\u00f3n a Hyon, una empresa conjunta de Nel, Hexagon Composites y PowerCell Suecia para realizar el proyecto junto con otros socios.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>HYON, creada en 2017, ofrece a los clientes del sector mar\u00edtimo un \u00fanico punto de contacto para todo lo relacionado con el hidr\u00f3geno, desde la producci\u00f3n, pasando por la distribuci\u00f3n y el almacenamiento, hasta los sistemas de dispensaci\u00f3n y las pilas de combustible.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, para hacer realidad los nuevos buques de pila de combustible previstos por el programa PILOT-E, HYON tiene que asociarse, naturalmente, con constructores navales. En detalle, los proyectos son:<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto ZEFF son las siglas en ingl\u00e9s de Transbordador R\u00e1pido Cero Emisiones. El buque utilizar\u00e1 unos foils que lo elevar\u00e1n fuera del agua y tendr\u00e1 una velocidad de crucero de entre 25 y 45 nudos, es decir, hasta 83 kil\u00f3metros por hora. The project goal is to develop and realise emission-free container transport for short-sea market based on hydrogen fuel cells. The ship concept will be moving transport of cargo from road to sea and will include autonomous cargo handling in achieving cost-effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The development contracts assign PowerCell as supplier of fuel cells, Hexagon as supplier of hydrogen storage tanks and Nel as supplier of the on-shore hydrogen production and fuelling solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The PILOT-E scheme provides funding for Norwegian trade and industry and has been launched as a collaboration between the Research Council, Innovation Norway and Enova. Final agreements for the grant will be signed early 2019, upon which the hydrogen ship projects will commence immediately thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>Fuel cell drives have received more interest recently. ABB and the research organisation SINTEF of Norway are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2018\/11\/05\/abb-sintef-to-scale-up-fuel-cells-as-main-ship-drive\/\">currently investigating<\/a> whether fuel cells are a feasible energy source for main ship propulsion for example.
