Personal Airline Exchange (PAX) ha encargado 50 de los aviones h\u00edbridos paralelos convertidos, con opci\u00f3n a 50 m\u00e1s.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2019\/06\/09\/vuelo-inaugural-del-mayor-avion-hibrido-de-la-historia\/\">su vuelo inaugural el 6 de junio<\/a>, Ampaire hab\u00eda puesto sus miras en la explotaci\u00f3n comercial en los pr\u00f3ximos dos a\u00f1os. PAX es un servicio que organiza vuelos entre pasajeros y compa\u00f1\u00edas ch\u00e1rter, principalmente desde aeropuertos regionales alejados de los grandes centros de operaciones. Para PAX, el objetivo principal del contrato era el ahorro de combustible y de costes.<\/p>\n<p>\"PAX modeliz\u00f3 los tipos de vuelos que tienen el mayor valor desde el punto de vista del ahorro de tiempo y la comodidad para nuestros clientes\", declar\u00f3 al portal Avionics el director general de PAX, Mike Azzarello. \"Al buscar aviones que se ajustaran a ese perfil, el Electric EEL ofrece velocidad, asientos para pasajeros y autonom\u00eda con unos costes de explotaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s bajos en comparaci\u00f3n con los aviones disponibles en la actualidad\".<\/p>\n<p>Medidos en d\u00f3lares por asiento y hora de vuelo, los costes de explotaci\u00f3n se sit\u00faan entre un tercio y la mitad de los de otros modelos comparables. Para su c\u00e1lculo, PAX utiliz\u00f3 el Cirrus SR22, el Diamond DA62 y el Pilatus PC-12 a modo de comparaci\u00f3n. The battery-powered electric motor replaces a combustion engine of the aircraft&#8217;s original twin-engine configuration. The resulting system is a &#8220;parallel hybrid&#8221;, i.e. the combustion engine and electric motor work together to optimize power output in flight. In the hybrid configuration, the aircraft should reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce operating costs.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Ampaire 337 is a retrofitted Cessna, Azzarello says it expects certification to be faster than for a completely new aircraft type.<\/p>\n<p>Clean aviation is no longer just being driven by smaller companies like Ampaire. Seven leading aviation companies, including Airbus and Boeing, have jointly declared their commitment to significantly reduce CO2 emissions from aviation. According to the declaration, this should include &#8220;supporting the marketing of sustainable alternative aviation fuels&#8221;, but also &#8220;developing radically new aircraft and engine technologies&#8221;.
