So far, a maximum of 300 kWh is possible. The battery update, which Solaris will present in October, will increase the capacity of the storage battery to up to 550 kWh.

The vehicles ordered by the Warsaw public transport operator will be driven by two electric motors integrated into the axle. Each machine has a maximum output of 110 kW. In addition, MZA has installed a SiC voltage converter for the traction motor, which will further reduce energy consumption.

The interior of the Urbino 18 Electric is similar to that of the Solaris buses with internal combustion engines already in service in Warsaw. The cab will be closed and the bus will be equipped with air conditioning and a passenger information system.
