Mathieu Bonnet, an experienced manager from the energy sector, will take over the day-to-day business. Among other things, the Frenchman was CEO of Compagnie Nationale du Rh\u00f4ne (CNR), the second-largest hydroelectric company in France according to the press release. He has also founded E6, an energy management platform for renewable energies.<\/p>\n
Bonnet himself does not speak in the short message from the Dutch company, but he is warmly welcomed by the investor Meridiam. “We look forward to working with her [Anja van Niersen] and the company’s management to achieve Allego’s goal of becoming the European leader in charging infrastructure for electric vehicles,” says Julien Touati, Partner and Head of Energy Turnaround at Meridiam.<\/p>\n
The change seems to have taken place at the behest of Meridiam. “We are pleased that Anja has accepted our request to take Allego into the next phase as Chairman of the Allego Board. Allego operates numerous charging stations in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. With Ultra-E, the company is also building its network of high-power chargers. Allego also offers charging solutions for private customers and companies, for example, for charging at the workplace.<\/p>\n
