Se ha anunciado trabajo a jornada reducida en la planta, seg\u00fan ha confirmado la empresa.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Primero fue el peri\u00f3dico econ\u00f3mico \"l'Echo\" el que inform\u00f3 de la parada forzosa de la producci\u00f3n, que m\u00e1s tarde fue confirmada por un portavoz de Audi a la agencia de noticias belga \"Belga\". No se sabe exactamente cu\u00e1nto tiempo estar\u00e1 suspendida la producci\u00f3n; seg\u00fan Audi ser\u00e1n \"unos d\u00edas\".<\/p>\n<p>A petici\u00f3n de Belga, el portavoz de la planta no quiso especificar qu\u00e9 piezas faltaban para la producci\u00f3n del todoterreno el\u00e9ctrico ni qu\u00e9 proveedor era el responsable. Sin embargo, el problema no ten\u00eda nada que ver con la epidemia de coronavirus en China.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente Audi produce 20 veh\u00edculos por hora en Bruselas, un aumento previsto a 24 veh\u00edculos por hora ya ha sido pospuesto. Con una parada de la producci\u00f3n de \"unos pocos d\u00edas\", esto deber\u00eda significar un n\u00famero de entre tres y cuatro d\u00edgitos de veh\u00edculos que no se est\u00e1n fabricando por el momento.<\/p>\n<p>Ya se hab\u00eda informado en enero de que la producci\u00f3n del Audi e-tron ser\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/01\/26\/audi-realiza-cambios-de-personal-en-la-factoria-de-bruselas\/\">reducido en el primer trimestre<\/a>. Se sospechaba que hab\u00eda problemas de suministro con las celdas de las bater\u00edas, ya que los problemas afectaban sobre todo al proveedor LG Chem. Seg\u00fan un informe anterior de \"l'Echo\", entre otras cosas, Audi hab\u00eda suspendido la producci\u00f3n nocturna de montaje de m\u00f3dulos de bater\u00edas. To this end, the company has increased the originally planned investment of 320 million euros to almost 1.4 billion euros. With this rapid expansion of production, the ramp-up seems to be somewhat slower than hoped for. Audi is probably not the only carmaker affected: Mercedes is said to have throttled EQC production or postponed the North American start due to the shortage of batteries &#8211; but the Stuttgart company contradicts the reports. Jaguar, too, uses cells from LG Chem in Poland for the I-Pace and recently had to stop production due to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/02\/10\/lack-of-batteries-hinders-mercedes-and-halts-i-pace-production-at-jagauar\/\">lack of battery cells<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly enough, Ford is still relaxed: The American carmaker also uses LG Chem cells from the Polish plant for the Mustang Mach E. Ford will then ship the cells to Mexico and install them in the Mustang Mach E there. In a recent interview, Ted Cannis, Director Global Electrification, said that he was &#8220;very confident&#8221; and assumed that the competition was more likely to have a lack of demand than scarce batteries.
