Imparato ha dejado claro, sin embargo, que no habr\u00e1 conversaciones sobre este tipo de intercambio de tecnolog\u00eda hasta que se complete la fusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los microcoches con motores de combusti\u00f3n interna se enfrentan a un futuro incierto debido a las normativas cada vez m\u00e1s estrictas sobre emisiones. Por ello, algunos fabricantes de autom\u00f3viles se plantean eliminar progresivamente sus series de modelos o, como el Grupo VW, pasarse a la propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica con el Up y sus modelos hermanos Seat Mii el\u00e9ctrico y Skoda Citigo e iV.<\/p>\n<p>Peugeot se ha decidido ahora por este \u00faltimo. \"Decidimos hace algunas semanas que mantendremos el 108 en nuestra alineaci\u00f3n\", declar\u00f3 Imparato a la revista brit\u00e1nica <em>Auto Express<\/em>. \"\u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque este coche tiene un \u00e9xito razonable y porque es importante: en el Reino Unido vendemos unos seis mil coches al a\u00f1o\". Instead, the plan is to use the technology of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/03\/05\/fiat-chrysler-premiere-first-fully-electric-car\/\">recently introduced electric Fiat 500<\/a> \u2013 87 kW engine power, 42 kWh battery capacity for 320 km WLTP range. According to the Peugeot CEO, this is possible but is not currently being discussed internally for a good reason. &#8220;I&#8217;m not studying anything around the platforms of FCA &#8211; we&#8217;re in a period of merger of the operations, and at that time it&#8217;s forbidden to study anything during the merger,&#8221; says Imparato. &#8220;I&#8217;m happy to discuss after the closing of the deal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Only one thing seems to be clear: The next 108 is to be a fully-fledged microcar and not a reduced city vehicle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/02\/27\/citroen-shows-off-a-light-electric-car-for-6000-euros\/\">like the Ami from PSA&#8217;s sister Citro\u00ebn<\/a>. While he seemed very enthusiastic about the model, saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s cool, isn&#8217;t it? Ami is not a car, it&#8217;s a device!
