El operador holand\u00e9s de transporte p\u00fablico Connexxion ha encargado veinte autobuses Urbino 12 de hidr\u00f3geno a Solaris. Los autobuses de pila de combustible se desplegar\u00e1n en el sur de los Pa\u00edses Bajos a partir de finales del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n
Los autobuses de hidr\u00f3geno Solaris ser\u00e1n puestos en funcionamiento por Connexxion, perteneciente al Grupo Transdev. Las dos provincias neerlandesas de Hoekse Waard y Goeree-Overflakkee conforman la regi\u00f3n m\u00e1s poblada de los Pa\u00edses Bajos, a lo largo de la costa del Mar del Norte. El contrato incluye un acuerdo de servicio de 12 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Solaris Urbino 12 autobuses de hidr\u00f3geno<\/a> utilizan un conjunto de pilas de combustible con una potencia de 70 kW. El hidr\u00f3geno se almacena en forma gaseosa en 5 dep\u00f3sitos de nueva generaci\u00f3n instalados en el techo del autob\u00fas. Should the hydrogen run out, the Urbino 12 hydrogen can also be refuelled at a charging station. The bus is driven by an axle with two integrated electric motors, each with an output of 125 kW. Solaris indicates a range of up to 350 kilometres. The hydrogen is stored in gaseous form under pressure levels of 250 atm in five containers arranged alongside the roof.<\/p>\n The hydrogen fuel-cell buses are financed under the JIVE and JIVE2 projects<\/a>. Solaris gained its first hydrogen experience during the development of battery buses with fuel cells as range extenders. As part of the JIVE project, Solaris delivered two Urbino 18.75 electric buses to Hamburg and 10 trolleybuses to Riga. In both cases, the vehicles were equipped with fuel cells as range extenders. The Urbino 12 hydrogen buses were then developed and put into series production with the information gleaned from the early experience with fuel cell technology.<\/p>\n Solaris is benefitting from its lack of hesitation to adopt the new technology and currently managing a number of large new contracts.
