El MAZ 303E10 utiliza la transmisi\u00f3n central puramente el\u00e9ctrica CeTrax de ZF y se supone que tiene una autonom\u00eda de hasta 300 kil\u00f3metros.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Parte de una nueva generaci\u00f3n de autobuses MAZ, el 303 es la tercera generaci\u00f3n de autobuses urbanos. Los bielorrusos esperan que el autob\u00fas el\u00e9ctrico sea capaz de \"atravesar una gran ciudad varias veces sin tener que recargar\". El modelo el\u00e9ctrico pretende combinar las ventajas de los autobuses de l\u00ednea y di\u00e9sel.<\/p>\n<p>El 303E10 es un autob\u00fas de piso bajo de 12,43 metros de longitud que puede transportar 70 pasajeros, 30 de ellos sentados. El propio chasis est\u00e1 fabricado con tubos de acero resistentes a la corrosi\u00f3n y su capacidad de carga est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para el peso de las bater\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>El autob\u00fas urbano est\u00e1 propulsado por el eje ZF CeTrax de 300 kW. Las bater\u00edas se podr\u00e1n cargar tanto por corriente alterna como por CCS; esta \u00faltima tardar\u00e1 unas cuatro horas. El informe no menciona la posibilidad de carga r\u00e1pida por pant\u00f3grafo. The driver&#8217;s cabin is still equipped with some very robust looking toggle switches but also has a digital dashboard.<\/p>\n<p>During the development process, care was apparently taken to use as many identical parts as possible to the other 303 series buses to make maintenance and repair easier for the operators. MAZ has not given an idea of the price of the model. According to MAZ general director Valery Ivankovich, the electric bus is still &#8220;somewhat more expensive&#8221; than a diesel bus, but as soon as the company starts mass production and improves the model, the price could &#8220;drop considerably&#8221;. Generally, of course, even more-expensive electric vehicles save money over their fossil-fuelled counterparts alone through lower maintenance and energy costs.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">&#8220;For MAZ, a historic moment has come &#8211; access to a promising segment of electric buses. The new model combines the advantages of a bus and a trolley bus. Moreover, it was created on the basis of the third-generation bus MAZ 303, but with the maximum unification of units, assemblies, cladding elements and electronic systems. The electric bus turned out to be not only advanced but also economical, which makes it the best choice for cities,&#8221; stated MAZ in a press release in Russian.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 303E10 must prove its practical suitability within a year. According to another report from <em>Belta<\/em>, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has ordered MAZ to produce ten electric buses for use in Belarusian regions.
