El fabricante acaba de anunciar que las ventas del nuevo modelo ya han comenzado y que, en Colonia y Barcelona, el e-bus articulado ya se est\u00e1 integrando en el servicio regular.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>MAN ya hab\u00eda mostrado la versi\u00f3n de autob\u00fas individual del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/etiqueta-2\/ciudad-de-los-leones-e\/\">Ciudad de Le\u00f3n E<\/a> en la Busworld de Bruselas el pasado mes de octubre. Ahora le sigue la presentaci\u00f3n del autob\u00fas el\u00e9ctrico articulado de 18 metros de longitud, cuyas ventas est\u00e1n abiertas desde abril, seg\u00fan ha informado ahora el fabricante.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la filial de Volkswagen, el modelo puede acomodar hasta 120 pasajeros. Dos motores el\u00e9ctricos centrales en el segundo y el tercer eje proporcionan la propulsi\u00f3n, que tiene una potencia de 320 kW hasta un m\u00e1ximo de 480 kW. La energ\u00eda para ello procede de ocho bater\u00edas situadas en el techo del autob\u00fas articulado con una capacidad total de 640 kWh. Seg\u00fan MAN, se basa en la tecnolog\u00eda de c\u00e9lulas NMC del sistema modular del Grupo. El fabricante estima que la autonom\u00eda del Lion's City 18 E ser\u00e1 de 200 kil\u00f3metros o de hasta 270 kil\u00f3metros en condiciones favorables durante toda la vida \u00fatil de las bater\u00edas. Esto significa que la previsi\u00f3n de autonom\u00eda est\u00e1 en l\u00ednea con la del autob\u00fas individual de 12 metros de longitud, que, con una potencia de 160 a 270 kW, tambi\u00e9n se espera que recorra entre 200 y 270 kil\u00f3metros.<\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, el fabricante est\u00e1 enviando ambas variantes al uso diario de clientes en cinco pa\u00edses europeos. La flota de demostraci\u00f3n consta de 15 veh\u00edculos en total, con dos unidades en solitario que ya se est\u00e1n probando en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2019\/12\/10\/el-operador-de-transportes-de-hamburgo-encarga-17-autobuses-electricos-para-hombres\/\">Hamburger Hochbahn y el Hamburgo-Holstein<\/a> autoridad de transporte p\u00fablico. La VHH ha encargado un total de 17 autobuses E-solo. Las pruebas de campo con el MAN Lion's City 18 E se llevar\u00e1n a cabo bajo la direcci\u00f3n de la autoridad de transportes de Colonia y del operador espa\u00f1ol Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB).<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan MAN, en el cuarto trimestre de este a\u00f1o podremos esperar los primeros veh\u00edculos para clientes de la producci\u00f3n en serie del MAN Lion's City E en la versi\u00f3n monovolumen de 12 metros. La variante de autob\u00fas articulado le seguir\u00e1 unos seis meses m\u00e1s tarde, en el primer semestre de 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\"Con una longitud de 18 metros, el MAN Lion's City 18 E es la elecci\u00f3n perfecta para todas las empresas que buscan un autob\u00fas urbano totalmente el\u00e9ctrico y, por tanto, libre de emisiones a nivel local y con capacidad para muchos pasajeros\", explica Rudi Kuchta, director de la unidad de negocio de autobuses de MAN Truck &amp; Bus. En t\u00e9rminos de dise\u00f1o, la versi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica difiere de su hom\u00f3loga con motor de combusti\u00f3n en algunos puntos, en parte por razones t\u00e9cnicas y en parte para demostrar su independencia. Una de las diferencias m\u00e1s llamativas es la omisi\u00f3n de la torre del motor y la colocaci\u00f3n de las bater\u00edas en el techo del veh\u00edculo. To ensure the ranges mentioned above, the electric city bus also has intelligent temperature management on board.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the charging capacity specified by MAN is causing a stir. According to this, the Lion&#8217;s City 18 E &#8220;only&#8221; supports an average charging capacity of 100 kW and a maximum capacity of up to 150 kW. This means that only cable-bound charging in the depot is included, but not rapid intermediate charging at stops via pantograph where charging capacities of 450 to 600 kW are typical. According to the manufacturer, the model needs &#8220;less than four hours&#8221; to be fully charged.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A survey of customers and the current experiences of our eMobility consulting team MAN Transport Solutions show that with a range of 200 kilometres, around 80 per cent of all lines can be served, so that recharging of the buses can only take place in the depot,&#8221; says a MAN spokesman, explaining the charging concept at the request of <em>electrive<\/em>. &#8220;With the constantly developing battery technology, higher ranges will also be possible in future, so that more lines can be operated. Moreover, the concept of depot charging does not fundamentally rule out interim charging in the depot, for example, during a lunch break&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>eTGM into regular transport operation<\/h3>\n<p>Meanwhile, concerning MAN&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/tag\/eTGM\/\">electric truck eTGM<\/a>: Friedrich Wenner GmbH is taking one of the first fully electric units into regular transport operation. The cardboard tonnage manufacturer generates the electricity for the 264 kW electric truck utilizing its photovoltaic system. The test vehicle is an eTGM in the configuration of a 6\u00d72-4 three-axle chassis with steerable and liftable trailing axle for a gross vehicle weight of 26 tonnes.
