El plan de ahorro prev\u00e9 la eliminaci\u00f3n de 2.000 millones de euros en costes fijos. La estrategia incluye recortes de personal.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El plan parece sencillo a primera vista: Renault quiere aumentar la eficacia simplificando los procesos, reduciendo la variedad de componentes y ajustando las capacidades, seg\u00fan escriben en el comunicado. Los \"ajustes de personal necesarios\", como describe la empresa francesa la supresi\u00f3n de puestos de trabajo, deber\u00edan constituir la \"base de la vuelta a un crecimiento rentable y sostenible\".<\/p>\n<p>Concretamente, se suprimir\u00e1n 4.600 empleos en Francia y \"m\u00e1s de 10.000 puestos de trabajo\" en el resto del mundo. Pero Renault quiere evitar los despidos por razones operativas. \"Se llevar\u00e1n a cabo mediante el reciclaje, la movilidad interna y las bajas voluntarias\", dice el comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>El ahorro tambi\u00e9n significa que Renault pretende centrarse m\u00e1s en \u00e1reas espec\u00edficas en el futuro. Seg\u00fan su comunicado, el fabricante de autom\u00f3viles ha definido como \u00e1reas de negocio estrat\u00e9gicas \"los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos, los veh\u00edculos comerciales ligeros, la gesti\u00f3n del reciclaje y las innovaciones de alto valor a\u00f1adido\". En cuanto a la electromovilidad, Renault est\u00e1 poniendo en marcha un proyecto en las plantas de Douai y Maubeuge para estudiar la creaci\u00f3n de un centro de excelencia de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos y veh\u00edculos industriales ligeros en el norte de Francia. Seg\u00fan Renault, se reorganizar\u00e1n las actividades de la planta de Flins (incluido el Zoe) y del Centro de Tecnolog\u00eda y Desarrollo de Guyancourt. By reducing the variety of components, the entire vehicle development process is to be streamlined. Production in the plants is to be upgraded with industry 4.0 technologies and digitalisation is to be accelerated.<\/p>\n<p>Worldwide, Renault expects its production capacity to fall to 3.3 million vehicles by 2024 &#8211; from the current level of around four million cars. Specifically, the carmaker will suspend projects already planned for new production capacities in Morocco and Romania and is investigating adapting capacities in Russia. Renault is also looking into &#8220;possibilities for rationalising transmission production&#8221;. The Fonderie de Bretagne plant is also to be &#8220;strategically&#8221; examined, and the conversion of the Dieppe plant at the end of production of the Alpine A110 is also to be &#8220;openly considered&#8221;. Renault is thus publicly scrutinising these factories, but without announcing a concrete closure.<\/p>\n<p>Renault also mentions once again the withdrawal from the development of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/04\/14\/renault-group-will-only-sell-electric-cars-china\/\">combustion vehicles in China<\/a> and the transfer of the shares of the joint venture to Dongfeng.<\/p>\n<p>However, Renault does not mention what Nissan announced in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/05\/28\/nissan-to-close-barcelona-plant-but-keep-sunderland\/\">austerity plan on Thursday<\/a>: The plant in Sunderland, UK, should also build Renault models in the future, according to the Japanese. In Sunderland, Nissan is building the Leaf, among other things, but also the SUV Qashqai, which has a Renault sister model, the Kadjar.
