Ahora parece que el modelo insignia desarrollado en el marco del proyecto llevar\u00e1 el t\u00edtulo de A9 e-tron y podr\u00eda lanzarse al mercado en 2024. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Como <em>Autocar<\/em> seg\u00fan informa la revista, la berlina de lujo puramente el\u00e9ctrica desarrollada bajo el c\u00f3digo interno E6 se inspirar\u00e1 en el concept car Aicon presentado en 2017. Se supone que el E6 representa el estado del arte en t\u00e9rminos de e-drive, c\u00e9lulas de bater\u00eda, conducci\u00f3n automatizada y conectividad 5G. Este modelo insignia deber\u00eda competir con el Mercedes Benz EQS y el Jaguar XJ.<\/p>\n<p>Ya en 2017, cuando Audi present\u00f3 el estudio en el IAA, el concepto AIcon deb\u00eda prescindir de volante y pedales. En aquel momento, Audi subray\u00f3 su ambici\u00f3n de autonom\u00eda total con un interior que se asemejaba m\u00e1s a un sal\u00f3n que a un coche. Los cuatro motores el\u00e9ctricos del concepto deb\u00edan sumar 256 kW de potencia. La bater\u00eda se concibi\u00f3 con una autonom\u00eda de 800 km y capacidad de carga inductiva.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora, <em>Autocar<\/em> afirma haber conocido la posible denominaci\u00f3n de venta A9 e-tron de fuentes de la sede central de Audi en Ingolstadt, Alemania. Seg\u00fan otras fuentes internas no identificadas, se dice que el veh\u00edculo ser\u00e1 una berlina deportiva o un coup\u00e9 de cuatro puertas (conocido en el lenguaje de Audi como Sportback). Most recently, Audi has increasingly had to share its role as the group&#8217;s leading technology brand with Porsche. The upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/tag\/e-tron-GT\/\">e-tron GT<\/a> will take over the platform of the Porsche Taycan and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2019\/10\/07\/audi-q4-e-tron-concept-to-be-made-in-zwickau\/\">Q4 e-tron<\/a> is based on the MEB and is also built by VW in Zwickau. Audi also has to work with Porsche on the new PPE platform for large electric cars.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, Artemis is to be located outside Audi&#8217;s regular development department to be brought to fruition as quickly as possible \u2013 or as Duesmann puts it, Artemis will be allowed to &#8220;quickly and unbureaucratically create technologies for electric and highly automated driving&#8221;. Alex Hitzinger heads the project&#8217;s developers and software experts. As a former motorsport engineer, Hitzinger knows how to achieve a result under time pressure. Time will tell whether this can also be transferred to electric and highly automated driving.<\/p>\n<p>The A9 e-tron will not be the product bearing the fruits of the labour undertaken at Artemis, the technology developed should also to be transferred to other electric models. <em>Autocar<\/em> maintains that Artemis has also been given the task of advancing other existing Audi projects such as a high-tech successor to the original A2, as revealed with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2019\/04\/16\/audi-shows-q2-l-e-tron-and-the-study-aime-in-shanghai\/\">2019 AI:ME concept car<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With the new organisation, Duesmann wants to remain competitive in a changing industry. Companies such as Tesla, but also start-ups such as Lucid Motors or Rivian, work with significantly smaller and more agile teams.
