General Motors said in their press release that “The heart of GM\u2019s strategy is a modular propulsion system and a highly flexible global EV platform powered by proprietary Ultium batteries<\/a>, allowing the company to compete for nearly every customer in the market today, whether they are looking for affordable transportation, a luxury experience, work trucks or a high-performance machine.”<\/p>\n EVgo and General Motors have now decided to expand their build plan and to add another 500 high-powered DC fast charging stalls. This brings the total number of HPCs to 3,250 through 2025 and means that the geographic reach of the network will expand from 40 metropolitan markets to 52.
