El proyecto Bus2Grid est\u00e1 probando sistemas V2G con un n\u00famero inicial de 28 autobuses el\u00e9ctricos de dos pisos con los que se puede devolver a la red m\u00e1s de 1 MW de energ\u00eda.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El proyecto est\u00e1 dirigido por SSE Enterprise y financiado por el gobierno brit\u00e1nico e incluye la participaci\u00f3n de la alcald\u00eda, Transport for London y el operador de autobuses Go Ahead. En total, el proyecto deber\u00eda durar tres a\u00f1os, periodo en el que la prueba se ampliar\u00e1 a un m\u00e1ximo de 100 e-buses. La investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 financiada, entre otros, por el Departamento de Empresa, Energ\u00eda y Estrategia Industrial (BEIS) y la Oficina de Veh\u00edculos de Bajas Emisiones (OLEV).<\/p>\n<p>En el proyecto se utilizan autobuses el\u00e9ctricos BYD-ADL. La empresa conjunta entre el fabricante chino de autobuses el\u00e9ctricos BYD y Alexander Dennis Limited ofrece el Envrio400EV, una versi\u00f3n E del ic\u00f3nico autob\u00fas rojo de dos pisos. The project should create new business models for this.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Cameron, Head of Innovation at UK Power Networks, sees a major advantage of the electric buses compared to V2G-capable electric cars: the plannable routes with their predictable charging requirements and times. &#8220;That means we can easily predict and plan for how we can use any spare electrical capacity they can offer,&#8221; says Cameron. &#8220;For example, we could use them as energy storage devices that could add capacity and help us to increase the volume of renewable energy exported onto the network when supply might otherwise be exceeding demand.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Just a few days ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/08\/07\/nissan-e-on-launch-v2g-project-in-the-uk\/\">Nissan and E.On had also started a V2G project in England<\/a>. But the two partners are focusing on passenger cars and corporate fleets. These too are often parked in the company&#8217;s employee car parks in a plannable manner and can thus be used for network services.
