Para ello, el proveedor y el grupo aeron\u00e1utico tienen la intenci\u00f3n de crear una empresa conjunta.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Tras la entrega de pilas y de un banco de pruebas dise\u00f1ado individualmente en verano, el acuerdo alcanzado ahora incluye la creaci\u00f3n de una nueva empresa conjunta que desarrollar\u00e1 y validar\u00e1 inicialmente pilas de combustible compatibles con la aviaci\u00f3n en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. As\u00ed lo ha anunciado ElringKlinger.<\/p>\n<p>El proveedor alem\u00e1n tendr\u00e1 una participaci\u00f3n minoritaria, mientras que Airbus poseer\u00e1 la mayor\u00eda de las acciones de la nueva empresa. ElringKlinger proporcionar\u00e1 a la nueva empresa acceso a la tecnolog\u00eda y suministrar\u00e1 los componentes necesarios para el desarrollo. La empresa recibir\u00e1 \"una compensaci\u00f3n de entre dos y cuatro millones de euros\" por el cierre, previsto para finales de 2020, seg\u00fan el anuncio. At the same time, other high-tech performance criteria such as service life or operational parameters such as operating temperature or operating humidity must be met in an aviation-specific manner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to the company, the core of the high power density of the ElringKlinger stack is the use of metallic bipolar plates as well as specially designed membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) sealing solutions. According to ElringKlinger, the company has been researching fuel cells for around 20 years and has since then acted both as a system and component supplier. CEO Wolf attests to the &#8220;great market potential&#8221; of this technology within the aviation industry, as a pure battery drive system quickly reaches its limits in certain applications.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus is relying on hydrogen as a key technology to develop zero-emission aircraft for the commercial market by 2035. To this end, Airbus is testing and researching a wide range of configurations and technology variants for the use of hydrogen, including in conjunction with the use of fuel cells to generate electrical energy.<\/p>\n<p>At Airbus there was a change in strategy this year: The &#8216;E-Fan X&#8217; project, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2017\/11\/28\/100-seater-hybrid-aircraft-take-off-2020\/\">launched in 2017<\/a> and aimed at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/05\/04\/airbus-officially-puts-the-lid-on-hybrid-plane-project\/\">100-seat regional aircraft with a hybrid-electric drive, was discontinued in May<\/a>. Instead, the Group presented three concepts for the world&#8217;s first emission-free commercial aircraft in September.
