Dicen que la medida se debe principalmente a la consideraci\u00f3n hacia las personas mayores, ya que los conductores dispersar\u00edan los ligeros VE en los espacios p\u00fablicos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\"A partir del 1 de enero ya no ser\u00e1 posible alquilar o aparcar un patinete el\u00e9ctrico en la mayor\u00eda de las zonas m\u00e1s urbanizadas de Copenhague\", dijo el departamento de servicios medioambientales y t\u00e9cnicos de la ciudad en un correo electr\u00f3nico enviado a <em>AFP<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La prohibici\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n afectar\u00e1 a los distritos de los puentes de Copenhague, seg\u00fan anunci\u00f3 la alcaldesa de Tecnolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente, Ninna Hedeager Olsen (EL). Seg\u00fan ella, la ciudad podr\u00eda aprovechar mucho mejor estas zonas p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n<p>\"Se trata de prohibir que se puedan alquilar en zonas p\u00fablicas, donde tenemos que priorizar el espacio. Puede haber bancos, puede haber asientos al aire libre y todo lo dem\u00e1s\", cita <em>Politiken<\/em> el diputado local.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque no est\u00e1 claro que no puedan coexistir, la prohibici\u00f3n afectar\u00eda a los servicios de alquiler libres y\/o en la calle. El alcalde se\u00f1al\u00f3 la posibilidad de que los e-scooters se alquilen en tiendas y comercios, donde los clientes tendr\u00edan que devolver los patinetes tras su uso.<\/p>\n<p>La medida debe ser aprobada por el consejo municipal pero parece gozar de apoyo.<br \/>\nSi se aprueba, afectar\u00e1 al modelo de negocio de las empresas de patinetes el\u00e9ctricos que prestan servicios en Copenhague desde hace alg\u00fan tiempo, a saber, Lime, Tier y Voi.<\/p>\n<p>El art\u00edculo en <em>Politiken<\/em> sugiri\u00f3 que las empresas ya hab\u00edan decidido retirarse deliberadamente de las zonas p\u00fablicas centrales, tras reconocer los problemas con peatones y ciclistas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La capital danesa, Copenhague, quiere prohibir el alquiler de patinetes el\u00e9ctricos a partir del 1 de enero de 2021 en el centro de la ciudad. So just about a week before we adopted these restrictions, they have found some solutions,&#8221; she told <em>Politiken<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We have reached out to Voi, that runs the largest e-scooter fleet in Copenhagen with a request for comment that awaits reply.<\/p>\n<p>The Swedish company has recently been seen to introduce extra safety measures as well as controls, also because their operation remains shut down in the English town of Coventry. Residents had similar complaints to those brought forward in Copenhagen, prompting the city to back away as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/10\/07\/e-scooter-firm-voi-adds-another-uk-city-as-liverpool-goes-live\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Voi has recently laid out measures including &#8220;no-ride and slow-ride zones&#8221; based on revised geofencing which apply in Liverpool for example. Voi uses so-called ambassadors on the ground to provide support to prospective riders, at least in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>They also consider introducing license plates on all scooters. &#8220;We think it is key to helping ambassadors spot rogue riders. It will also help the public to report people who ride dangerously or remove scooters from the trial zone,&#8221; says Voi.<\/p>\n<p>Licence plates are not a requirement in the UK legislation, but they are in Germany. The country also underwent regulation on the go after allowing the small scooters to take to the streets earlier this year for the first time. The UK is in a similar process and will revise\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/07\/12\/e-scooter-trials-could-see-the-uk-move-beyond-eu-rules\/\">the new rules<\/a>\u00a0following the trials now taking place in many towns.<\/p>\n<p>In Denmark, rental electric scooters as free-floating fleets took to the streets in 2019.
