El fabricante chino de coches el\u00e9ctricos tambi\u00e9n ofrece nuevos detalles sobre el novedoso pack de bater\u00edas que utiliza la \u00faltima tecnolog\u00eda de CATL anunciada por primera vez en abril. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Con m\u00e1s de 300 patentes registradas y adquiridas, la bater\u00eda de 100 kWh de Nio utiliza la tecnolog\u00eda Cell-to-Pack (CTP) desarrollada con CATL, que seg\u00fan Nio consigue una densidad energ\u00e9tica un 37% superior a la de un pack convencional. Esto es m\u00e1s de lo que CATL estim\u00f3 cuando <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2019\/09\/12\/catl-revela-una-nueva-plataforma-de-productos-en-la-iaa-2\/\">presentar el CTP<\/a> bater\u00edas en la IAA de 2019. La empresa hab\u00eda dado entonces los siguientes datos clave: iban a aumentar la densidad energ\u00e9tica relacionada con la masa entre un 10% y un 15%, y en cuanto a la eficiencia de uso relacionada con el volumen, la empresa inform\u00f3 de una mejora de entre el 15% y el 20%.<\/p>\n<p>En cualquier caso, la tecnolog\u00eda permite a los fabricantes almacenar m\u00e1s energ\u00eda en el mismo espacio de bater\u00eda, mientras que CATL tambi\u00e9n ha conseguido que la bater\u00eda sea m\u00e1s ligera al utilizar un 40% menos de componentes. Para el pack Nio, la empresa menciona tambi\u00e9n la gesti\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica en todas las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas y un proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n racionalizado. A esto hay que a\u00f1adir la prevenci\u00f3n de la propagaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica y un BMS bidireccional en la nube que admite \"ajustes inteligentes de los par\u00e1metros en funci\u00f3n de las condiciones de trabajo para mejorar el rendimiento de la bater\u00eda en todas las condiciones\", afirma Nio.<\/p>\n<p>El hecho de que Nio utilice c\u00e9lulas CATL en sus modelos con bater\u00eda de 100 kWh tambi\u00e9n significa la llegada de una nueva era de mayor autonom\u00eda. Nio ya lo hab\u00eda anunciado a principios de a\u00f1o, en abril, cuando present\u00f3 la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/04\/20\/nio-inicia-la-entrega-de-la-es8-revisada\/\">revisado E8<\/a>. El SUV el\u00e9ctrico cuenta con el gran propulsor que ahora llega seg\u00fan lo previsto. Nio hab\u00eda especificado una autonom\u00eda NEDC de hasta 580 kil\u00f3metros para el eSUV m\u00e1s grande. En el comunicado de hoy, la empresa habla de hasta 615 km, de nuevo en NEDC, pero no nombra un modelo concreto. They can upgrade their electric car to 100 kWh either by purchasing or renting the new battery through Nio&#8217;s battery-as-a-service (BaaS). The upgrade can also be made flexibly by paying 880 yuan ($130\/\u20ac112) per month or 7,980 yuan ($1,190\/\u20ac1,017) per year. Nio claims that under the BaaS model, drivers who opt for a car powered by the 100 kWh battery will pay 128,000 yuan ($19,300\/\u20ac16,315) less upfront with a subscription for 1,480 yuan ($220\/\u20ac188) per month. In previous subscriptions for the 70 kWh battery, the reduction was 70,000 yuan.<\/p>\n<p>Introduced in August this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/08\/20\/nio-launches-battery-as-a-service-baas-with-catl\/\">Nio&#8217;s BaaS<\/a> is run together with CATL and two other partners through the Battery Asset Company. The new company owns the batteries and lease them through the BaaS business model with CATL supplying the cells.<\/p>\n<p>Nio can also tie in another proposition. The young company now operates 158 battery-swapping stations around China (up from 143 in August) and Nio claims it completed over 1,18 million battery swaps. Founder William Li Bin added that Nio was building a new battery-swapping station in China every week and planned to build 300 new stations next year. This is a huge expansion given that Nio completed the first battery-swap corridor in January 2019 as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2019\/01\/20\/nio-completes-first-battery-swapping-route\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And this is not the end of the line for Nio with its 100 kWh capacity. Li Bin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/11\/02\/nio-announces-150-kwh-battery-pack-european-launch\/\">earlier this week announced<\/a> a 150 kWh battery pack, which should enable ranges of over 900 kilometres.
