El acuerdo forma parte de un acuerdo conjunto de desarrollo y licencia firmado en 2019.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Desde abril de 2019, Bosch y PowerCell Sweden colaboran en el desarrollo, la producci\u00f3n y la comercializaci\u00f3n de una pila para el sector automovil\u00edstico basada en la pila de combustible de electrolito polim\u00e9rico (PEM) denominada PowerCell S3. En el marco del desarrollo y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2019\/04\/29\/bosch-inicia-la-produccion-en-serie-de-pilas-de-combustible\/\">acuerdo de licencia celebrado en su momento,<\/a> Bosch se asegur\u00f3 el derecho a ofrecer la nueva versi\u00f3n de la pila de combustible S3 exclusivamente en autom\u00f3viles, camiones y autobuses. El lanzamiento al mercado, dijo Bosch en su momento, estaba previsto para \"2022 a m\u00e1s tardar\". Mediante la combinaci\u00f3n flexible de dos o m\u00e1s pilas, el d\u00fao pretende cubrir una cartera de productos y servicios que va desde los turismos hasta los camiones pesados.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/04\/01\/powercell-recibe-un-importante-pedido-de-bosch\/\">En abril de este a\u00f1o, PowerCell recibi\u00f3<\/a> un pedido similar de Bosch por valor de alrededor de un mill\u00f3n de euros. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/01\/29\/primeros-clientes-para-los-camiones-de-pila-de-combustible-de-bosch\/\">A finales de enero,<\/a> el proveedor alem\u00e1n anunci\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n que ya tiene el primer cliente para las pilas de combustible. Para los camiones de pila de combustible de la startup estadounidense Nikola, Bosch suministrar\u00e1 no s\u00f3lo los ejes E, sino tambi\u00e9n todo el sistema de pila de combustible con tecnolog\u00eda de PowerCell. For example, according to an earlier announcement, the company has signed a contract with an unnamed &#8220;leading European shipyard&#8221; for the development and supply of a marine fuel cell system with a total output of approximately 3 megawatts. The system is to be developed and delivered within three years. The order is worth 6.9 million euros for the development, production and delivery of the system.<\/p>\n<p>Bosch sees long-term potential in the mobile fuel cell technology business in the billions. Bosch has already made clear some time ago that starting with commercial vehicles, Bosch fuel cell drives would then be increasingly used in passenger cars in the future. To achieve this, however, the cost of fuel cell systems would have to fall gradually. According to Bosch, the largest item is the stack, which accounts for up to two-thirds of the total costs. Bosch said that through industrialisation and the spread of the technology on the market, they would achieve economies of scale and cut costs, as emphasised by Dr Stefan Hartung, Bosch board of management and chairman of the Mobility Solutions division, last year. However, for this to happen the costs for hydrogen must also fall, although the price (&#8220;often more than five euros per kg&#8221;) tends to decrease as production increases.<\/p>\n<p>Bosch and PowerCell are contributing their already accumulated know-how in this field to the cooperation: PowerCell, a business unit spun off from the Volvo Group in 2008 and based in Gothenburg, was already building fuel cells for prototypical use in trucks and cars before the cooperation.
