La empresa estatal afirma que producir\u00e1 bater\u00edas de iones de litio con qu\u00edmica NCM, as\u00ed como LFP, del orden de 100 GWh al a\u00f1o.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En Europa, la empresa planea construir su propia f\u00e1brica de bater\u00edas, seg\u00fan las \u00faltimas informaciones. CALB surgi\u00f3 de una subcontrata estatal en 2007, tiene su sede en Luoyang y unos 1.700 empleados en todo el mundo. La empresa produce c\u00e9lulas y m\u00f3dulos para coches el\u00e9ctricos, veh\u00edculos comerciales, sistemas de historias estacionarias para renovables y minirredes, y proyectos de equilibrio de la red.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los coches en los que est\u00e1 instalada la tecnolog\u00eda de bater\u00edas de CALB se encuentran el GAC Aion S y el GAC Aion V, varios veh\u00edculos de Changan, el Geely Emerand EV450, el Geely Geometry C, as\u00ed como el DFM Fengon E3 y el IA5 de GAC-Toyota. CALB cita como referencias a tres fabricantes de autobuses (Kinglong, Foton, Yutong) y una furgoneta de UPS.<\/p>\n<p>En un comunicado de prensa enviado a <em>electrive<\/em> por correo electr\u00f3nico, CALB escribi\u00f3 que la empresa aspira a duplicar su capacidad de producci\u00f3n hasta los 200 GWh \"en un futuro pr\u00f3ximo\". En la actualidad, la empresa estatal cuenta con un centro de I+D y tres plantas de producci\u00f3n en Changzhou, Luoyang y Xiamen.<\/p>\n<p>Paralelamente al aumento de la capacidad en China, CALB quiere expandirse por todo el mundo. La empresa estatal afirma producir bater\u00edas de iones de litio con NCM<\/p>","protected":false},"author":24,"featured_media":147734,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[9927],"tags":[10230,13682,10914,22272,98,10040,22273,263,13946],"class_list":["post-147751","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-battery-fuel-cell","tag-batteries","tag-battery-cells","tag-battery-production","tag-calb","tag-china","tag-europe","tag-guangqi-honda","tag-honda","tag-suppliers"],"acf":{"inhalt_teil2":"<p>On a very recent front, <em>CMB International<\/em>, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Bank, published an <a href=\"https:\/\/pdf.dfcfw.com\/pdf\/H3_AP202011021425769816_1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">equity research company update<\/a> on the GAC Group 3Q20 noting that: &#8220;The profitability of GAC NEV has gradually improved given 1) economies of scale brought by sales growth and 2<span class=\"\">) battery cost control given the introduction of new battery supplier CALB.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>From our own reports at <em>electrive<\/em>, the Chinese battery maker has indeed been making steady inroads into European markets. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2017\/11\/27\/sino-german-battery-joint-venture\/\">Back in 2017<\/a>, we reported that the German supplier ElringKlinger set up a joint venture with Chengfei Integration Technology (CITC). The agreement will see CITC contribute lithium-ion battery cells via its subsidiary China Aviation Lithium Battery (CALB). At the same time, ElringKlinger will add all other module components and also oversee design and production.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2019\/04\/22\/continental-widens-e-mobility-portfolio-in-china\/\">We also reported<\/a> a new cooperation in a joint venture between Continental and CALB in 2019. Continental&#8217;s joint venture with CALB will manufacture complete 48-volt systems with a motor, control unit, and battery in Changzhou. While CALB supplies the battery cells, Continental contributes to the battery management system, including the underlying software. The company\u2019s goal is to start production of technically advanced battery systems by 2021. &#8220;The Chinese market will continue to be of pivotal importance for the future development of electric mobility,&#8221; confirmed Andreas Wolf, head of Continental Powertrain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/04\/07\/lifecycle-assessment-electric-cars-vs-combustion-engines\/\">In April 2020<\/a>, CALB also featured in a study conducted by a team at the Environment Campus Birkenfeld in Trier \u2013 not using metadata, but real-world tests and measurements. The researchers collected as much data as possible themselves \u2013 by dismantling a VW Caddy with a 1.6-litre petrol engine, analysing it and rebuilding it with an electric drive.<\/p>\n<p>To electrify the Caddy, the Trier researchers opted for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells from the Chinese manufacturer CALB. They installed a battery with an energy content of 25.9 kWh. They also simulated a battery twice the size with 51.8 kWh and included the original materials of the battery cells (according to the manufacturer CALB) in the analysis.
