Six organisations will now work on developing electric vehicle charging solutions in the first phase of what is called the Low Carbon Transport Innovation Challenge.<\/p>\n One project aims to tackle the problem of drivers with purely combustion engines blocking access to public charging spaces, known as ICEing. Collaborating on a solution here are Urban Foresight, a smart cities consultancy, Miralis Data, a company specialising in logistics data, Arceptive, active in IT services, and Comms365, a company that designs, builds, integrates and operates specialist networks.<\/p>\n The other involves a collaboration between Connected Kerb charging providers, Urban Foresight mentioned above and ‘You. Smart. Thing,\u2019 a company who provides visitor-centric destination management.
