La start-up de coches el\u00e9ctricos Lucid Motors anunci\u00f3 su intenci\u00f3n de salir a bolsa mediante una fusi\u00f3n, confirmando los rumores de enero. Para ello, Lucid se fusionar\u00e1 con la sociedad de inversi\u00f3n cotizada Churchill Capital IV (CCIV).<\/p>\n
Seg\u00fan el anuncio, se espera que la OPV, que deber\u00eda completarse en el segundo trimestre de 2021, recaude 1.400 millones de d\u00f3lares (unos 3.600 millones de euros) en capital fresco para la empresa. Se espera una valoraci\u00f3n total de unos 24.000 millones de d\u00f3lares; el equivalente a unos 19.700 millones de euros al cambio actual.<\/p>\n
El acuerdo en s\u00ed consta de dos partes: Dado que CCIV hab\u00eda recaudado \"s\u00f3lo\" 2.100 millones de d\u00f3lares en su OPV, la empresa dispone de muy poco dinero para comprar Lucid, pero eso es lo que debe hacer CCIV si quiere que la empresa fusionada siga cotizando en bolsa.
