En una superficie de unos 7.000 metros cuadrados se fabrica all\u00ed la electr\u00f3nica y los sensores de transmisi\u00f3n de los propulsores destinados a veh\u00edculos totalmente el\u00e9ctricos y electrificados.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En primer lugar, en la nueva planta se fabricar\u00e1 a gran escala una innovadora unidad de control de la transmisi\u00f3n. Se dice que es m\u00e1s robusta y ligera que los dispositivos convencionales y, gracias a un nuevo tipo de proceso de sobremoldeo, tambi\u00e9n requiere un n\u00famero significativamente menor de pasos de producci\u00f3n, seg\u00fan un comunicado de Vitesco. \"Esto es gracias a un proceso innovador conocido como sobremoldeo. En \u00e9l, los componentes electr\u00f3nicos, dispuestos en una placa de circuito impreso como en las unidades de control cl\u00e1sicas, se incrustan en pl\u00e1stico. Vitesco Technologies utiliza nuevos procesos de moldeo por inyecci\u00f3n de alta precisi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como nuevos pl\u00e1sticos especialmente resistentes\", afirma el proveedor.<\/p>\n<p>Vitesco Technologies es tambi\u00e9n la empresa que ha desarrollado la unidad de control de propulsi\u00f3n del sistema modular el\u00e9ctrico MEB de Volkswagen. La empresa con sede en Ratisbona es la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/08\/12\/la-unidad-de-accionamiento-meb-vendra-de-vitesco\/\">\u00fanico proveedor del componente para la plataforma MEB<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>De vuelta en Hungr\u00eda, la planta de producci\u00f3n de Debrecen cubre otros componentes en el campo de la electrificaci\u00f3n y la electromovilidad, incluidos los generadores de arranque por correa de 48 voltios para h\u00edbridos suaves, adem\u00e1s de los controles electr\u00f3nicos. \"Estamos alineando sistem\u00e1ticamente nuestra empresa con el mercado en crecimiento de la electr\u00f3nica y la electrificaci\u00f3n. The plant is equipped in accordance with the Industry 4.0 approach with, among other things, autonomous transport robots in the production hall, an intelligent warehouse management system, computer-assisted maintenance systems and other automated building functions, it says. The manufacturer is aiming for LEED environmental certification for the plant, among other things, it says, the facility has fully integrated building and energy management systems that control building parameters based on real-time demand.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This high-tech plant is already showing what the factory of tomorrow will look like \u2013 intelligent, lean and green. With the latest Industry 4.0 solutions in all production areas and with a clear focus on the environment and sustainability, we are actively shaping the future of production at Vitesco Technologies,&#8221; affirms Dr Hans-J\u00fcrgen Braun, Head of Operations and thus responsible for Vitesco Technologies&#8217; global manufacturing network.<\/p>\n<p>Continental&#8217;s powertrain division (formerly Powertrain) was actually to be spun off and floated on the stock exchange. However, in view of the uncertainties in the wake of the Corona crisis, Continental decided in May 2020 to postpone the spin-off indefinitely. This step would be taken &#8220;as soon as the market environment for this has noticeably improved and stabilised&#8221;, it was said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Brief review: In mid-2018, Continental announced a comprehensive restructuring. The corporation is to be managed under the new umbrella brand Continental Group as a holding company with the three divisions Rubber, Automotive and Powertrain. Of particular interest from an e-mobility perspective is the Powertrain division, which has since been renamed Vitesco Technologies and which, in addition to the combustion engine business, also combines hybrid and electric drives as well as all ongoing battery activities.
