Actualmente, la empresa se centra en las flotas y afirma haber integrado sus bater\u00edas modulares en nueve modelos de veh\u00edculos de cinco fabricantes de autom\u00f3viles diferentes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Las estaciones de intercambio de bater\u00edas de Ample se est\u00e1n desplegando actualmente en la zona de la bah\u00eda de California, con Uber entre las flotas que utilizan el sistema. Sin dar m\u00e1s detalles ni citar nombres, Ample afirma que est\u00e1 trabajando activamente con \"una serie de grandes fabricantes de autom\u00f3viles para permitir el despliegue masivo en EE.UU., Europa y Asia.\"<\/p>\n<p>Ample s\u00f3lo dice que ha integrado sus bater\u00edas modulares en nueve modelos de veh\u00edculos de cinco fabricantes de autom\u00f3viles diferentes. En la actualidad, Ample es compatible con el coche el\u00e9ctrico m\u00e1s com\u00fan entre los conductores de Uber, el Nissan Leaf, junto con algunos veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de Kia. Los Tesla a\u00fan no incorporan estos sistemas. Hasta ahora, s\u00f3lo las empresas asi\u00e1ticas de movilidad el\u00e9ctrica han sabido aprovechar este apoyo infraestructural tan ventajoso.<\/p>\n<p>Ample afirma que utiliza el primer sistema modular de intercambio de bater\u00edas del mundo, lo que no es estrictamente cierto. Los sistemas y estaciones de bater\u00edas modulares han sido utilizados aqu\u00ed en Berl\u00edn por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpack.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Greenpack<\/a> y aunque de tipo espec\u00edfico, otra red de estaciones de intercambio de bater\u00edas se va a extender por toda Europa con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/02\/24\/tier-mobility-une-fuerzas-con-northvolt\/\">Movilidad por niveles<\/a>. Tambi\u00e9n muy recientemente un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/03\/01\/los-principales-fabricantes-de-motocicletas-estandarizaran-el-cambio-de-baterias\/\">consorcio para estandarizar los tama\u00f1os de las pilas<\/a> para motocicletas y veh\u00edculos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os. En China, con empresas como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2019\/09\/17\/bjev-planea-construir-3000-estaciones-de-intercambio-de-baterias\/\">BJEV<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/08\/20\/nio-lanza-la-bateria-como-servicio-baas-con-catl\/\">Nio<\/a>, las estaciones de intercambio de bater\u00edas ya han despegado, ahora tambi\u00e9n con grandes fabricantes de bater\u00edas como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/01\/24\/sk-innovation-el-intercambio-de-baterias-se-intensifica-en-china\/\">Innovaci\u00f3n SK<\/a>, por supuesto con pol\u00edticas de apoyo del gobierno chino que permiten el despliegue a gran escala que ahora est\u00e1 en marcha. At the battery swapping stations, a fully-autonomous system removes depleted battery modules from the car and replaces them with fully charged ones. Depleted battery modules then are placed on shelves to be recharged.\u00a0 Right now, the stations have a maximum capacity of 90 cars per day.<\/p>\n<p>While ample is initially focussing on getting battery swapping systems going with fleets, they are aiming to eventually cater to private vehicle use. Ample envisages useful locations for the stations as being grocery stores, gas stations and highway rest stops.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding use of resources and technology, it is battery swapping in general and modular and standardised battery units, in particular, are very advantageous to be able to keep up with constantly improving batteries, while electric vehicles require little maintenance and fewer new parts than their combustion counterparts. Like Nio discovered, the battery is the expensive and constantly changing part, an upgrade doesn&#8217;t need to involve the entire vehicle.
