Las agencias forestales del Gobierno escoc\u00e9s han entregado el \u00faltimo lote de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos como parte de sus esfuerzos de electrificaci\u00f3n. Ocho coches el\u00e9ctricos Kia Niro y tres furgonetas comerciales ligeras Nissan eNV200 han llegado para prestar servicio en los bosques escoceses.<\/p>\n
La compra de los once veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos fue posible gracias a la financiaci\u00f3n de flotas e infraestructuras Switched on de Transport Scotland. Consideran que se trata de \"un paso adelante para que Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) y Scottish Forestry contin\u00faen su camino para convertirse en organizaciones con emisiones netas cero en 2045 o antes\".<\/p>\n
Las \u00faltimas adquisiciones elevan la cuota de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de las agencias a casi 10% de su flota administrativa combinada. El FLS dispone ahora de 22 veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos y el Scottish Forestry de seis. El FLS gestiona los bosques y las tierras propiedad de los ministerios escoceses. The Switched on Fleet Funding from Transport Scotland granted \u00a384,000 to FLS.<\/p>\n
Scottish Forestry\u2019s electric vehicles will be used by Woodland Officers who need to visit woodland sites for inspections and as part of their everyday duties in promoting woodland creation projects.<\/p>\n
Dave Signorini, Chief Executive of Scottish Forestry, added: “We all have a corporate duty to reduce our emissions as Scotland<\/a> strives to be a net-zero nation by 2045. Not only are we working hard to deliver increased carbon sequestration in woodlands, but we are also taking more direct action in our own business.”<\/p>\n FLS\u2019 new vehicles will be used from its offices in Selkirk, Dumfries, Newton Stewart, West Calder, Inverness, Fochabers and Durris.<\/p>\n Both agencies are also working together in expanding their charging infrastructure across Scotland. Electric vehicle charging points are already installed at 12 FLS locations and a further three SF locations.<\/p>\n
