El modelo de mayor autonom\u00eda supera las especulaciones anteriores en cuanto a especificaciones.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cuando Daimler ya hab\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/03\/23\/daimler-lanza-la-produccion-de-baterias-eqs\/\">montaje de la bater\u00eda de arranque<\/a> para las NCA a finales de marzo y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/03\/29\/mercedes-filtra-fotos-del-interior-del-eqs\/\">fotos publicadas<\/a> del interior, Mercedes-Benz promete ahora una autonom\u00eda de hasta 770 kil\u00f3metros para su veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico de lujo seg\u00fan el WLTP. Antes de los datos oficiales, la autonom\u00eda del EQS se cifraba en \"m\u00e1s de 700 kil\u00f3metros\". La baja resistencia aerodin\u00e1mica deber\u00eda contribuir a ello; seg\u00fan Daimler, el valor cW es de 0,20.<\/p>\n<p>El fabricante tambi\u00e9n ha dado a conocer m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre la propulsi\u00f3n: el motor trasero es de serie en la nueva plataforma, por lo que todos los EQS tendr\u00e1n una transmisi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica (eATS) en el eje trasero. Las versiones con 4MATIC tambi\u00e9n tendr\u00e1n un eATS en el eje delantero. Mercedes destaca especialmente el rendimiento de la m\u00e1quina s\u00edncrona de excitaci\u00f3n permanente (PSM) en el eje trasero. Mercedes-Benz especifica dos denominaciones de modelo por el momento, a saber, EQS 450+ y EQS 580 4MATIC. The cobalt content in the battery cells has been reduced to ten per cent, and the optimized active material consists of nickel, cobalt and manganese in a ratio of 8:1:1. Daimler intends to use over-the-air updates to keep the battery management software developed up to date throughout its service life. The battery can also be preheated or cooled while driving to keep the battery in the optimal temperature window.<\/p>\n<p>An onboard charger for up to 22 kW AC charging power is to be available as an option. Daimler does not mention the charging power ex-works, but it is likely to be around 11 kW. Mercedes-Benz puts the maximum DC power at fast-charging stations at up to 200 kW, and electricity for up to 300 WLTP kilometres should be recharged in 15 minutes. The EQS also supports Plug &amp; Charge.<\/p>\n<h3>Recuperation with up to 290 kW<\/h3>\n<p>There is also recuperation with the maximum output (probably for the all-wheel-drive models) said to be 290 kW &#8211; for the rear-wheel-drive versions, recuperation is limited by traction. Daimler sets deceleration at up to 3 m\/s\u00b2. In the recuperation system familiar from the EQC (the three stages can be selected via the shift paddles on the steering wheel) in &#8216;DAuto&#8217; mode, the vehicle decelerates independently at up to 5 m\/s\u00b2 &#8211; said 3 m\/s\u00b2 via recuperation and 2 m\/s\u00b2 are decelerated automatically via the wheel brakes. The EQS is supposed to be able to break to a standstill via recuperation.<\/p>\n<p>Mercedes also points out that the EQS drive is particularly quiet. Both eATS have an NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) cover all around, and the eATS are also doubly decoupled via elastomer mounts. The main floor of the battery is not smooth but has corrugations to prevent vibrations and noise generation. The vehicle floor itself, on the other hand, is smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the EQC&#8217;s route planning, the EQS system is said to have a new visualization of whether the available battery capacity is sufficient to drive back to the starting point without charging.
