La potencia de carga en corriente alterna es de 7,4 kW bif\u00e1sica; parece que Audi no ofrecer\u00e1 de momento el cargador trif\u00e1sico opcional de 11 kW del ID.4. \"La peque\u00f1a bater\u00eda es capaz de cargarse por completo durante la noche o durante una jornada laboral incluso con 7,2 kW\", afirma Michael Kraus, de Desarrollo de Audi. \"Es t\u00e9cnicamente posible, pero de momento no est\u00e1 previsto. Veremos qu\u00e9 nos deparan las peticiones de los clientes\".<\/p>\n<p>Para los conductores que no pueden cargar en casa o en el trabajo y tienen que depender de la infraestructura de recarga p\u00fablica, al menos podr\u00edan querer tener esa opci\u00f3n: Con un proceso de carga de cuatro horas (por ejemplo, hasta la carga de bloqueo en EnBW), eso supone m\u00e1s de 14 kWh de diferencia, o en la pr\u00e1ctica probablemente unos 80 kil\u00f3metros de autonom\u00eda. No obstante, la potencia de carga en corriente continua de 100 kW es est\u00e1ndar para Audi, mientras que Skoda cobra 500 euros m\u00e1s por el Enyaq iV, en el que s\u00f3lo se dispone de 50 kW de f\u00e1brica.<br \/>\nLa capacidad de carga de CC podr\u00eda aumentarse con una actualizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La segunda variante, el Q4 40 e-tron, utiliza la conocida bater\u00eda de 77 kWh (netos, brutos: 82 kWh), con una potencia del motor el\u00e9ctrico de 150 kW. Audi da una autonom\u00eda de 520 kil\u00f3metros (Sportback: 528 kil\u00f3metros), pero a\u00fan son cifras provisionales. Con la gran bater\u00eda, el Q4 est\u00e1 equipado con un cargador de 11 kW de f\u00e1brica y hasta 125 kW en una estaci\u00f3n de carga de corriente continua. Sin embargo, Kraus mantiene la perspectiva de mejoras a trav\u00e9s de una actualizaci\u00f3n del software, pero no entra en detalles sobre un calendario o la posible autonom\u00eda de la potencia de carga tras la actualizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El modelo superior es el Q4 50 e-tron quattro que combina la bater\u00eda de 77 kWh con dos motores el\u00e9ctricos. Sin embargo, el motor el\u00e9ctrico (ASM) del eje delantero no es tan potente como el motor (PSM) trasero de 150 kW, y la potencia del sistema es de 220 kW. \"El Quattro forma parte de Audi\", afirma el nuevo Consejero de Desarrollo Oliver Hoffmann. En esta versi\u00f3n, el Q4 puede acelerar hasta 100 km\/h en 6,2 segundos. Audi cifra la autonom\u00eda provisional en 488 kil\u00f3metros (Sportback: 497 kil\u00f3metros).<\/p>\n<p>Al igual que otros modelos MEB, la Q4 tiene frenos de tambor en el eje trasero. Kraus subraya que esto no es una desventaja para el cliente, sino todo lo contrario. \"La recuperaci\u00f3n cubre el 90 por ciento de los procesos de frenado. En el diez por ciento restante, los frenos de disco de la parte delantera realizan la mayor parte del trabajo\", afirma Kraus. \"En nuestro caso de uso, los frenos de tambor en la parte trasera tienen ventajas porque los costes de corrosi\u00f3n y mantenimiento son menores\".<\/p>\n<p>La capacidad de remolque de los modelos de tracci\u00f3n trasera es de 1.000 kilogramos, mientras que el Q4 quattro puede remolcar 1.200 kilogramos. The car, which is &#8220;absolutely suitable for everyday use&#8221; (quote Duesmann), benefits from the electric platform&#8217;s flat interior floor. &#8220;With a dedicated electric modular system, we are enabling a new layout of space,&#8221; says Hoffmann, the board member responsible for development. &#8220;At 4.59 metres, the Q4 e-tron is shorter than a Q5 but offers space at luxury-class level.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Audi officials, the boot is also larger than usual in the class. The e-SUV comes in at 520 to 1,490 litres, the SUV coupe at 535 to 1,460 litres. That&#8217;s decent, but not the best even among the MEB models: the Skoda Enyaq offers 585 to 1,710 litres, while the non-VW competition, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, offers 531 to 1,591 litres.<\/p>\n<p>Audi wants to differentiate itself from its sister models through design, independent suspension tuning (a sports suspension with 15 millimetres lowering is optional) and numerous digital functions. But here, too, the Q4 adopts some components from the MEB, such as the augmented reality head-up display. On the other hand, Audi-exclusive is the premium sound system, which for the first time comes from Sonos.<\/p>\n<p>Audi also makes sure it points out the customisable daytime running lights as a novelty and a &#8220;real USP&#8221;: In the control system, users can choose between four light graphics. Speaking of the operating system: Audi relies on its own MMI system here, and all app connections also run via Audi&#8217;s own backend.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Audi seems to be caught a little between worlds with the Q4 e-tron: On the one hand, the Ingolstadt-based company benefits greatly from the MEB (especially in terms of costs), but on the other hand, the distinctions in terms of technology are even more subtle than in the combustion models based on the MQB. Audi has to emphasise details such as the selectable daytime running lights, newly designed and aerodynamically optimised exterior mirrors, the tear-off edge of which is supposed to provide a range of two kilometres (the closing cooling grille at the front still provides six kilometres). By the way, the cW value of the Q4 e-tron is 0.28, the same as the Q4 Sportback e-tron 0.26.<\/p>\n<p>In Germany, body variants are scheduled to go on sale in June, with prices starting at 41,900 euros for the 125 kW model before government subsidies. Prices for the 150 kW model start at 47,500 euros. The all-wheel-drive model starts at 52,900 euros. The Sportback is around 2,000 euros more expensive in each case. There will be two edition models available in both body styles and with all powertrains at market launch.<\/p>\n<p>The price policy has also changed for Q4 and is supposed to be simpler. For example, instead of selecting all assistance systems individually, the Q4 will only offer three assistance packages and one comprehensive safety package. By the standards of a German premium manufacturer, this is simple; even four packages are too many for other manufacturers. The surcharges themselves for the optional heat pump or the adaptive suspension have not yet been revealed.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Update 13 July 2021<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Audi&#8217;s new Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron are now on sale in the UK, priced from \u00a340,750 and \u00a342,250 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The cars come with a choice of two battery sizes, three power outputs and four trim levels, offering a maximum range of 316 miles from a single charge.\u00a0The starting price will buy you a 55 kWh battery with 52 kWh of usable capacity, as well as the entry-level 35 e-tron powertrain. That produces 168 bhp, all of which is powered via the rear wheels. This setup allows for 208 miles range, while the 0-62 mph sprint takes nine seconds flat.<\/p>\n<p>The more powerful 40 e-tron powertrain features an 82 kWh battery (of which 77 kWh is usable) and a 201 bhp electric motor, making for a range of 316 miles. The more powerful will get you from 0-62 mph in 8.5 seconds, although the top speed is still limited to 99 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the line-topping 50 e-tron Quattro system has two electric motors providing 295 bhp and four-wheel drive. This variant hasn&#8217;t been fully economy tested yet, but Audi estimates a range of around 295 miles. The performance figures have been confirmed, though, with the 50 e-tron Quattro managing 0-62 mph in 6.2 seconds.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Update 22 September 2021<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Audi&#8217;s Q4 e-tron models are ready for configuration in the US. The Q4 40 e-tron will start at $43,900, excluding a $1,095 destination fee. The Q4 50 e-tron will start at $49,900 ($50,995 including destination fee), while the Q4 Sportback 50 e-tron will start at $52,700 ($53,795). Both of the vehicles are eligible for the US federal tax credit of up to $7,500.<\/p>\n<p>The Q4 50 and Q4 50 Sportback both feature a twin-motor setup capable of reaching 219 kW and 459 Nm torque, which allows for acceleration to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds.
