La startup sueca Volta Trucks ha expresado oficialmente su inter\u00e9s en participar en la Centro de descarbonizaci\u00f3n<\/a> proyecto en las antiguas instalaciones de producci\u00f3n de Nissan en Barcelona. Essa Al-Saleh, que hasta ahora ejerc\u00eda como Presidente del Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n, asumir\u00e1 el cargo de Consejero Delegado, es decir, pasar\u00e1 del Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n al negocio operativo. In February this year, the transatlantic company said that trials with Volta Zero trucks are to be started with a few pre-series vehicles \u201cwith Europe\u2019s largest logistics company\u201d in the first half of 2021. The companies involved were not named specifically, but apparently include \u201csome of the largest parcel delivery and logistics companies in Europe\u201d.<\/p>\n Volta Trucks only started up in 2019 and has moved very fast, with offices in Sweden, France and the UK. The company says it is partnering “with a number of global leaders in the supply chain for the development and production of the Volta Zero.” With these latest announcements about the new factory location considerations and CEO, the electric commercial vehicle startup confirms that they expect that the first vehicles will be put into operation with customers in late 2021.
