Esta plataforma puede utilizarse como base para la creaci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos personalizados. Se ofrecer\u00e1 tanto a los nuevos participantes como a los fabricantes de equipos originales ya establecidos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El n\u00facleo de la oferta conjunta es la plataforma de coches el\u00e9ctricos EVX de Williams con una bater\u00eda estructural. Adem\u00e1s de esto, Italdesign ofrecer\u00e1 coches el\u00e9ctricos personalizados a los clientes con su \"reconocida experiencia en dise\u00f1o de veh\u00edculos y desarrollo llave en mano\", dijo Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE) en el comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>El EVX permitir\u00e1 industrializar r\u00e1pidamente berlinas, crossovers y veh\u00edculos GT el\u00e9ctricos, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Williams. En un gr\u00e1fico, los brit\u00e1nicos muestran incluso un deportivo descapotable el\u00e9ctrico. El sistema modular de bater\u00edas desarrollado por WAE permitir\u00e1 una potencia de hasta 1.000 kW o una autonom\u00eda de 1.000 kil\u00f3metros, seg\u00fan el comunicado. La empresa brit\u00e1nica cuenta con conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos en materia de bater\u00edas de alto rendimiento: WAE ya desarroll\u00f3 la bater\u00eda de la primera generaci\u00f3n de coches de carreras de F\u00f3rmula E. Mientras que las bater\u00edas para los actuales coches Gen2 proceden de McLaren, WAE volver\u00e1 a suministrar las bater\u00edas para los pr\u00f3ximos coches Gen3. Las bater\u00edas para la serie de carreras de turismos ETCR y la recientemente lanzada serie de carreras todoterreno Extreme E tambi\u00e9n proceden de WAE.<\/p>\n<p>El chasis rodante actual est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para bater\u00edas de entre 104 y 120 kWh. The battery housing is integrated into elements &#8220;that are more often perceived as part of the body structure&#8221;. &#8220;Front and rear chassis structures mount to the carbon composite case and crash loads can be transferred via internal reinforcements to the integral side sills,&#8221; Williams says. &#8220;The resulting higher profiled cross section achieves much of the torsional stiffness needed to deliver the full potential of the platform.&#8221; In doing so, the company says, there is less reliance on the &#8220;upper structure&#8221;, which should offer more freedom in the design of the vehicle itself.<\/p>\n<h3>Up to 10,000 vehicles possible<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;Demand for high performance electric vehicles is continuing to show considerable growth but to date, there has not been a complete EV production solution,&#8221; says Paul McNamara, Technical Director at WAE. &#8220;This unique relationship brings together state-of-the-art EV rolling chassis technology with one of the world\u2019s leaders in vehicle body engineering.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We aim to develop vehicle architectures in the GT, Sedan, Crossover and Convertible markets, fully customisable inside and outside,&#8221; says Antonio Casu, CTO at Italdesign. &#8220;We are targeting business cases that will cover different production volumes from an Ultra Limited Series up to 10,000 units a year, 500 of which can be built by Italdesign at our facilities in Turin.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Williams Advanced Engineering is a development services provider that emerged from the Williams Formula One team in 2010.
