Freudenberg e-Power Systems (FEPS) y LG Energy Solution (LGES) han firmado un contrato plurianual para el suministro de m\u00f3dulos de bater\u00edas de iones de litio. Es la respuesta de Freudenberg a la creciente demanda de sus clientes de camiones y autobuses en Norteam\u00e9rica y Europa.<\/p>\n
Seg\u00fan Freudenberg e-Power Systems -la divisi\u00f3n del Grupo que agrupa las actividades de Freudenberg en materia de bater\u00edas y sistemas de pilas de combustible desde abril de 2022-, se ha llegado a un acuerdo con LGES para el suministro de 19 GWh de m\u00f3dulos de pilas de iones de litio para aplicaciones en camiones y autobuses. Los socios no especifican c\u00f3mo se distribuir\u00e1 este volumen a lo largo del periodo \"plurianual\" del contrato. Tampoco hay informaci\u00f3n sobre el calendario de inicio de las entregas ni sobre el valor del pedido.<\/p>\n
Lo que est\u00e1 claro es que los m\u00f3dulos suministrados ser\u00e1n integrados por Freudenberg e-Power Systems en sus paquetes de bater\u00edas. \u00c9stos, a su vez, pasar\u00e1n a formar parte de las soluciones de propulsi\u00f3n de Freudenberg, incluyendo la gesti\u00f3n de la bater\u00eda, la refrigeraci\u00f3n, la telem\u00e1tica y otros elementos relevantes. FEPS subraya que los m\u00f3dulos de bater\u00edas encargados a LGES son \"especialmente adecuados para su uso en veh\u00edculos industriales debido a sus propiedades\". El trasfondo de todo esto es que Freudenberg adquiri\u00f3 en enero la participaci\u00f3n restante en el especialista estadounidense en bater\u00edas XALT Energy. Freudenberg pose\u00eda anteriormente una 50,1 por ciento de participaci\u00f3n en el fabricante de bater\u00edas<\/a>y hace unas semanas el Grupo adquiri\u00f3 el 49,9% restante de la empresa conjunta a su socio MBP Investors.
