Todos ellos trabajan en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n sobre el reciclado de bater\u00edas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Uno de los proyectos financiados es el de Reutilizaci\u00f3n y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/06\/30\/la-institucion-faraday-mejora-la-recuperacion-de-recursos-de-las-pilas\/\">Reciclaje de pilas de iones de litio (ReLIB)<\/a> que trabaja en la recuperaci\u00f3n de material cr\u00edtico de las bater\u00edas viejas de los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos. Seg\u00fan los investigadores, el m\u00e9todo desarrollado utiliza ondas ultras\u00f3nicas para separar el material valioso de los electrodos, lo que es 100 veces m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido, m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gico y conduce a una mayor pureza de los materiales recuperados en relaci\u00f3n con los m\u00e9todos de separaci\u00f3n actuales.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n trabajan en el proyecto ReLIB investigadores de las universidades de Edimburgo, Imperial College de Londres, Leicester, Newcastle y University College de Londres. Written in the programming language Python, the open-source battery simulation package aims to &#8220;accelerate battery modelling research by providing open-source tools for multi-institutional, interdisciplinary collaboration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/tag\/faraday-institution\/\">Faraday Institution<\/a> is an independent institute for electrochemical energy storage research in the UK.
