El objetivo del acuerdo con la empresa estonia Skeleton es ahora electrificar las flotas de veh\u00edculos de recogida de basuras en Europa y Norteam\u00e9rica, comenzando en las ciudades de Nueva York y Par\u00eds, y m\u00e1s adelante hacer que la soluci\u00f3n desarrollada por ambas empresas est\u00e9 disponible en todo el mundo. En <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2022\/10\/13\/shell-forma-un-consorcio-para-microrredes-mineras-evs\/\">oto\u00f1o de 2022<\/a>, Shell ya se hab\u00eda dado a conocer como el primer cliente importante de la soluci\u00f3n de bater\u00edas de grafeno. Shell quiere utilizarla para crear soluciones de electrificaci\u00f3n para las explotaciones mineras.<\/p>\n<p>La 'SuperBater\u00eda' fue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2020\/09\/07\/kit-esqueleto-investigacion-baterias-de-grafeno\/\">desarrollado junto con el Instituto de Tecnolog\u00eda de Karlsruhe<\/a> (KIT) y es una alternativa a las bater\u00edas de iones de litio. Se basa en un material patentado de grafeno curvado y, seg\u00fan declaraciones anteriores de la empresa estonia, se utilizar\u00e1 y probar\u00e1 principalmente en veh\u00edculos electrificados como autobuses y camiones, as\u00ed como en infraestructuras de carga.<\/p>\n<p>En realidad, Skeleton es conocido por sus supercondensadores, pero paralelamente est\u00e1 poniendo a punto esta novedosa combinaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda de bater\u00edas y condensadores, que une ambas v\u00edas tecnol\u00f3gicas y que se comercializar\u00e1 bajo el lema \"SuperBater\u00eda\". En resumen, las unidades de almacenamiento h\u00edbridas combinar\u00e1n las ventajas de las bater\u00edas de iones de litio (alta densidad energ\u00e9tica) con las de los ultracondensadores (alto rendimiento, larga vida \u00fatil). Seg\u00fan Skeleton Technologies, la \"SuperBater\u00eda\" puede cargarse en 90 segundos, tiene 50.000 ciclos de vida, no contiene cobalto, cobre ni n\u00edquel, y adem\u00e1s no es inflamable. We are therefore very pleased to be working with Martinrea to make a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and improving the energy efficiency of refuse collection vehicles in New York City and Paris,&#8221; said Taavi Madiberk, CEO and co-founder of Skeleton Technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The company does not disclose details about the roll-out of the vehicles in Paris and New York &#8211; neither about the number of vehicles, nor about the model types or the exact schedule. What is clear, however, is that the &#8216;SuperBattery&#8217; will be supplied from Saxony. Skeleton&#8217;s existing production plant is located in Gro\u00dfr\u00f6hrsdorf.
