The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2022\/12\/02\/jeep-releases-the-1st-edition-for-e39900\/\">Jeep Avenger<\/a> and, in future, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2022\/09\/13\/peugeot-reveals-details-to-the-electric-308-and-308-sw\/\">all-electric Peugeot 308 and 308 SW<\/a> will also be equipped with this electric drive-and-battery combination.<\/p>\n<p>The new 115 kW motor is an in-house development by Stellantis and the Japanese drive company Nidec and is manufactured by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2022\/06\/30\/stellantis-nidec-to-build-first-e-motors-in-2022\/\">joint venture of the two companies<\/a> in Tr\u00e9mery, formerly the largest diesel engine plant. This drive unit replaces the 100 kW engine previously used, which was still sourced from German supplier Vitesco Technologies.
