El eM2 ya est\u00e1 disponible para pedidos en dos variantes para las clases 6 y 7 de EE. UU.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de que el cami\u00f3n de gran tonelaje <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2022\/05\/12\/daimler-presenta-la-version-de-serie-norteamericana-del-ecascadia\/\">eCascadia<\/a>, el eM2 es el segundo modelo el\u00e9ctrico de bater\u00eda de la marca de camiones Freightliner de Daimler y est\u00e1 previsto que entre en producci\u00f3n en serie en la planta de Portland en oto\u00f1o de 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Las variantes finales del eM2 comprenden un cami\u00f3n de la Clase 6 estadounidense con un solo motor, 142 kW de potencia continua y una bater\u00eda de 194 kWh para 180 millas (290 km) de autonom\u00eda, y una versi\u00f3n de la Clase 7 con dos motores, 190 kW de potencia continua y una bater\u00eda de 291 kWh para 250 millas (400 km) de autonom\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El eM2 comparte el chasis con el modelo de combusti\u00f3n, concretamente con la variante M2 106 Plus. El motor o motores el\u00e9ctricos, denominados ePowertrains de Detroit, est\u00e1n integrados directamente en el eje, al igual que la caja de cambios de dos velocidades. Esto deber\u00eda permitir ahorrar en componentes mec\u00e1nicos, lo que se traduce en una construcci\u00f3n m\u00e1s sencilla y ligera, que a su vez deber\u00eda mejorar la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica. En aquel momento, la empresa trabajaba con Penske Truck Leasing, por ejemplo. Los veh\u00edculos recorrieron m\u00e1s de 2,4 millones de kil\u00f3metros (1,5 millones de millas) en 50 flotas que operaban en la costa oeste, Nueva Jersey y Canad\u00e1. The goal is to tackle specific requirements, particularly in the utility, sweeper, dump, towing and recovery, and refuse segments and upfit the eM2 series accordingly. Current new target specifications developed with work truck customers in the real world are up to 330 kWh of usable battery capacity, 150 miles range, depending on the application, wheelbases between 155-inch and 220-inch, only 10-inch of back-of-cab protrusion space for battery, and both electric and mechanical ePTO options to support hydraulic and battery-powered body equipment using the vehicle&#8217;s HV battery. These specs are subject to ongoing tests, so Daimler.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Freightliner points to Detroit eConsultants as a service partner &#8220;able to connect the dots&#8221; for customers transitioning to EV.
