La Administraci\u00f3n Nacional de Seguridad del Tr\u00e1fico en Carretera (NHTSA) cuenta 8.281 coches el\u00e9ctricos Mercedes entre los afectados en su \u00faltimo informe.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Se trata de un problema de software que, en determinadas condiciones, podr\u00eda provocar una p\u00e9rdida de propulsi\u00f3n. La NHTSA describe el motivo de la llamada a revisi\u00f3n de la siguiente manera: \"En determinadas condiciones, la l\u00f3gica de respuesta de gesti\u00f3n de fallos puede desactivar el sistema de propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrico. No se puede descartar una p\u00e9rdida de propulsi\u00f3n, lo que podr\u00eda aumentar el riesgo de colisi\u00f3n\".<\/p>\n<p>El conductor no recibir\u00e1 ninguna advertencia antes de que se produzca el problema, pero cuando ocurra, \"aparecer\u00e1n m\u00faltiples mensajes de advertencia en el cuadro de instrumentos\", seg\u00fan el aviso de llamada a revisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La llamada a revisi\u00f3n afecta principalmente a la berlina Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 2022-2023, con 5.051 unidades, seguida del EQS 580 2022, con 2.736 unidades, y del Mercedes-AMG EQS 2022-2023, con 492 veh\u00edculos. This recall affects 7,558 vehicles, which concerns a possible fault in the monitoring software of the Electronic Stability Program (ESP).<\/p>\n<p>Writes the NHTSA, &#8220;Under certain conditions, the ESP monitoring software could erroneously determine a fault condition. In that event, the ESP fault response would limit the functionality of the vehicle&#8217;s dynamics control systems (ABS, ASR, ESP, and EBD) and the speedometer would indicate a speed of 0 mph (0 km\/h), regardless of the actual vehicle speed.
