Tambi\u00e9n hay consecuencias personales para el entonces consejero delegado Ulrich Kranz.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan su investigaci\u00f3n, la SEC cree que Canoo enga\u00f1\u00f3 a los inversores con unas previsiones de ingresos poco realistas de cientos de millones de d\u00f3lares antes de salir a bolsa en 2020 como parte de una fusi\u00f3n con una empresa de adquisiciones con fines especiales.<\/p>\n<p>Canoo proyect\u00f3 unos ingresos de 120 millones de d\u00f3lares para 2021 y de 250 millones de d\u00f3lares para 2022 en relaci\u00f3n con la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios de ingenier\u00eda a otras empresas. Seg\u00fan la SEC, estas previsiones no eran razonables - y el entonces director general Ulrich Kranz y el entonces director financiero Paul Balciunas deb\u00edan de ser muy conscientes de ello, ya que dos de los proyectos que representaban casi todos sus ingresos previstos ya no estaban activos ni eran viables.<\/p>\n<p>Kranz, considerado el padre del BMW i3 y que pas\u00f3 de Canoo a Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2021\/06\/11\/apple-contrata-al-ex-director-general-de-canoo-ulrich-kranz\/\">en 2021<\/a>, deber\u00e1 pagar una multa de 125.000 d\u00f3lares y se le proh\u00edbe trabajar como directivo o consejero de una empresa que cotice en bolsa durante tres a\u00f1os. Balciunas deber\u00e1 pagar 50.000 y devolver 7.500 d\u00f3lares de beneficios.
