DKV Mobility acquired the Dutch company in <a href=\"ttps:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2021\/06\/10\/dkv-mobility-acquires-greenflux\/\">June 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Greenflux was founded in 2011 and has been working towards hardware-agnostic smart charging. An earlier initiative included the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2020\/02\/19\/invade-looks-at-algorithms-to-solve-grid-overload\/\">European project Invade<\/a>, completed in 2020. The central component of the test was a specially created algorithm from GreenFlux. It was designed to prevent grid overloads, incorporate renewable energies and exploit fluctuating electricity prices.
