Ahora, el fabricante de autom\u00f3viles ha dado una raz\u00f3n para el retraso: Ford quiere utilizar una bater\u00eda diferente para cumplir la norma ECE.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora, el plan era fabricar el Explorer bas\u00e1ndose en el MEB de Volkswagen. De este modo, el SUV el\u00e9ctrico de Ford iba a recibir las bater\u00edas y los propulsores el\u00e9ctricos de VW. Sin embargo, los planes, al menos en lo que respecta a la bater\u00eda, han evolucionado.<\/p>\n<p>El Ford Explorer vendr\u00e1 con una bater\u00eda diferente que cumplir\u00e1 con la \"pr\u00f3xima norma europea para veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos, el Reglamento de la ONU 100.3\/ ECE-R 100.3\", dijo Ralph Caba, portavoz de Ford. <em>24RHEIN<\/em>. A\u00fan no est\u00e1 claro si la nueva norma sobre bater\u00edas exigir\u00e1 cambios constructivos en el veh\u00edculo. Al fin y al cabo, adem\u00e1s del hardware, VW tambi\u00e9n deb\u00eda suministrar el software para controlar la bater\u00eda y la propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, no parece claro si las bater\u00edas suministradas por VW no cumplen la norma CEPE y por qu\u00e9, escribe el portal <em>Golem<\/em>. Seg\u00fan el organismo alem\u00e1n T\u00dcV S\u00fcd, las nuevas matriculaciones a partir del 1 de septiembre s\u00f3lo ser\u00edan posibles seg\u00fan la revisi\u00f3n 3. Eso significar\u00eda: si las bater\u00edas de VW no cumplen la nueva norma, no se permitir\u00eda que ning\u00fan nuevo VE de VW saliera a la carretera a partir de septiembre. Por tanto, es poco probable.<\/p>\n<p>El <em>Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ)<\/em> especula con que el uso de una bater\u00eda diferente (una decisi\u00f3n tomada al parecer por la sede de la empresa en Detroit) podr\u00eda ser una decisi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de cara a las futuras generaciones de coches el\u00e9ctricos de Ford. Si el objetivo es tener el mayor n\u00famero posible de piezas id\u00e9nticas para simplificar la producci\u00f3n, tiene sentido estandarizar las bater\u00edas. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2023\/01\/16\/ford-planea-una-plataforma-ev-para-europa\/\">A principios de a\u00f1o<\/a>, Ford anunci\u00f3 que dejar\u00eda de contar con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Volkswagen para su nueva generaci\u00f3n de coches el\u00e9ctricos. However, the newspaper does not go into detail here. According to Ford spokesman Caba, this will not be the case, but the delay will be caused by the fact that Ford is waiting for VW to deliver Revision 3-compliant batteries.<\/p>\n<p>Ford presented the new electric Explorer in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2023\/03\/21\/fords-meb-model-is-called-explorer-and-costs-less-than-45000-euros\/\">March 2023<\/a>. Order books were to open in September of this year, and the first vehicles were to be delivered before Christmas. The carmaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2023\/06\/12\/ford-opens-ev-centre-in-cologne\/\">already converted<\/a> two production lines to build electric cars, and the conversion of a third line is underway. Plans to postpone production of the Ford Explorer at the Cologne factory just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2023\/08\/10\/ford-postpones-production-launch-for-the-explorer-in-cologne\/\">became public yesterday<\/a>.
