Los tres primeros proyectos ya est\u00e1n en marcha y podr\u00edan dar lugar a uno de los mayores sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda renovable del Reino Unido.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>JLR ya encarg\u00f3 a Wykes Engineering el desarrollo de un sistema de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas (BESS) utilizando las bater\u00edas del coche el\u00e9ctrico I-Pace. Cada sistema incluir\u00e1 30 bater\u00edas procedentes de prototipos y veh\u00edculos de prueba de Jaguar, y un inversor. JLR fija la capacidad del sistema en 2,5 MWh.<\/p>\n<p>El fabricante de autom\u00f3viles tiene previsto entregar bater\u00edas suficientes para tres sistemas de este tipo a finales de 2023, lo que sumar\u00e1 una capacidad de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda de 7,5 MWh. Eso deber\u00eda bastar para abastecer de energ\u00eda a 750 hogares durante un d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Dado que cada BESS tiene su propio inversor, puede inyectar electricidad en la red durante las horas punta y extraer electricidad de la red durante las horas valle, cuando la demanda es menor, para amortiguar futuros picos de carga.<\/p>\n<p>JLR a\u00f1ade que gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica, Wykes Engineering logr\u00f3 una \"integraci\u00f3n perfecta\".
