Los organizadores eligieron acertadamente una berlina Lucid Air para competir contra el avi\u00f3n Elektra Solar en un recorrido que cubr\u00eda el \u00faltimo r\u00e9cord mundial de vuelo el\u00e9ctrico.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dicho r\u00e9cord fue establecido por un Pipistrel Velis Elektro en 2020. Con 30 minutos de autonom\u00eda, el avi\u00f3n tard\u00f3 tres d\u00edas y once paradas en cargarse para volar 200 kil\u00f3metros ese a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Avanzando r\u00e1pidamente hasta 2023, los socios del proyecto, Elektra Solar (aviones el\u00e9ctricos) y Lucid Motors (coches el\u00e9ctricos), quer\u00edan cubrir la distancia en un d\u00eda. The organisers had calculated that both means of transport would be on an equal footing since traffic jams on the ground, headwinds in the air, diversions or denied clearances by control zones of large airports would influence the race for both contestants.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, the electric car won but only by a very narrow margin: the Lucid Air arrived on Norderney about half an hour before the Elektra Trainer. The deciding factor was the ferry, which the Air reached three minutes before departure with only a few kilometres remaining range.
