A diferencia de los conceptos sin imanes de los motores de excitaci\u00f3n externa disponibles en la actualidad, el modelo I2SM de ZF transmite la energ\u00eda para el campo magn\u00e9tico a trav\u00e9s de un excitador inductivo situado en el interior del eje del rotor.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan ZF, la soluci\u00f3n deber\u00eda permitir un motor \"excepcionalmente compacto con la m\u00e1xima densidad de potencia y par\". Un motor s\u00edncrono de excitaci\u00f3n externa (FSM) tampoco necesita imanes permanentes ni tierras raras.<\/p>\n<p>Con el desarrollo del I2SM (In-Rotor Inductive-Excited Synchronous Motor), ZF quiere que estos motores sean \"extremadamente sostenibles en producci\u00f3n y muy potentes y eficientes en funcionamiento\". El rendimiento tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 a la altura de las m\u00e1quinas s\u00edncronas de imanes permanentes, afirma el proveedor.<\/p>\n<p>Los accionamientos FSM actuales, aunque carecen de imanes, siguen necesitando elementos deslizantes o escobillas para transmitir la corriente al rotor giratorio. Esto requiere un espacio de instalaci\u00f3n seco, es decir, no accesible para la refrigeraci\u00f3n por aceite y con juntas adicionales. Dado que los FSM \"convencionales\" son unos 90 mil\u00edmetros m\u00e1s grandes, este espacio de instalaci\u00f3n debe planificarse en el desarrollo del veh\u00edculo. Por tanto, los fabricantes no pueden limitarse a sustituir un PSM por un FSM.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, con la compacta I2SM esto deber\u00eda ser posible. ZF denomina a esta caracter\u00edstica \"integraci\u00f3n neutra en el espacio\" del excitador en el rotor, lo que significa que no hay desventajas de espacio axial. Adem\u00e1s, el aumento de la densidad de potencia en el rotor conlleva una mejora del rendimiento. In addition, the CO2 footprint in production can be reduced by up to 50 per cent &#8211; but this saving applies in relation to a PSM, in which the permanent magnets have to be produced with a high energy input.<\/p>\n<p>ZF plans to develop the I2SM technology to production maturity at an unknown date and offer it as an option within its e-drive portfolio. Customers can choose between 400-volt or 800-volt architecture for passenger or commercial vehicles. The latter relies on silicon carbide chips in the power electronics.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With this magnet-free e-motor without rare earth materials, we have another innovation with which we are consistently improving our electric drive portfolio to create even more sustainable, efficient and resource-saving mobility,&#8221; said Dr. Holger Klein, CEO of ZF. &#8220;This is our guiding principle for all new products.
