La empresa, que complet\u00f3 una fase piloto de diez taxis el\u00e9ctricos en Senegal en 2022 con el apoyo de un inversor local, busca actualmente socios financieros que le ayuden a adquirir e importar los 33.000 taxis el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El objetivo es claro: el uso de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos pretende reducir las emisiones en los tres centros urbanos. Aunque ya existen algunos proyectos de e-movilidad en los que participan taxis, autobuses y veh\u00edculos de dos ruedas en \u00c1frica Oriental, \"\u00c1frica Occidental sigue estando rezagada en la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de su transporte\", como afirma el portal <em>Afrik21<\/em> dice. Pero tambi\u00e9n hay movimiento en \u00c1frica Occidental: en Accra, por ejemplo, la startup SolarTaxi ha encontrado un inversor para convertir su flota en taxis el\u00e9ctricos y veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de dos ruedas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mbay Mobility ha optado por un modelo procedente de China para sus primeros taxis el\u00e9ctricos: el BYD e1. \"Hemos probado nuestro veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico en las carreteras, funciona bien y los comentarios han sido fenomenales.
