Khor was talking about the new \u2018Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES),\u2019 which covers both goods vehicles and buses, including goods-cum-passenger vehicles, with a Maximum Laden Weight (MLW) of over 3,500 kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">Singapore will offer the new incentive for three years, until 31 December 2028. It will disburse the grant in three stages\u201413,000 Singaporean dollars (approx. 9,000 euros) when the owner registers the electric heavy vehicle, 13,000 Singaporean dollars (approx. 9,000 euros) more a year later, and 14,000 Singaporean dollars (approx. 10,000 euros) on the second anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">Anticipating growing demand for specialised charging stations with the increasing number of electric heavy vehicles from next year, Singapore has introduced the new \u2018Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG).\u2019 \u201cWe will also provide the first 500 private heavy vehicle chargers co-funding of up to 50% of the charger installation cost, capped at 30,000 (Singaporean) dollars per charger,\u201d Khor added.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"ad-space\" >\n      <div class=\"ad-space-block\">\n      <div class=\"adspace not-mobile rectangle-4\" id=\"article-content-1\"><\/div>\n      <div class=\"adspace not-desktop topmobile-2\" id=\"article-content-1-mobile\"><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">Singapore\u2019s Land Transport Authority (LTA), which manages EHVCG, said it will offer grants for up to three chargers per site. LTA is targeting this scheme at electric heavy vehicle owners rather than charge point operators. It said that companies seeking to avail of this incentive must purchase at least one electric heavy vehicle per charger and deploy that charger at their place of business.
