There are two recent evolutions that have happened \u2013 the electric car and the connected car \u2013 and the auto industry has shown itself to be very conservative [on both counts].&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hadi Zablit is the co-author of Boston Consulting Group\u2019s annual innovation survey. It shows Tesla in seventh place, while carmakers such as Daimler and Audi are losing ground.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/cms\/s\/0\/df202a9e-5e07-11e4-b7a2-00144feabdc0.html#axzz3HRF5MpOv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ft.com<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-61812\" src=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/media\/2014\/10\/Alain-Prost.jpg\" alt=\"Alain-Prost\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" title=\"\">&#8220;I know a lot of people in Formula One and they are looking at what we are doing, because they are losing some spectators and some interest.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alain Prost, Formula One legend and now team leader at Formula E, says that the latter will be a success and can win people over.
