Y el tiempo se acaba.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Alemania tiene un problema, un problema con el diesel que \u00faltimamente ha sido reconocido por Angela Merkel y antes por las autoridades de la UE. Estas \u00faltimas acusan a las ciudades y pueblos alemanes de superar regularmente los l\u00edmites de emisiones de NOx y las sanciones son inminentes.<\/p>\n<p>Para evitar estas tasas, pero sobre todo para evitar la prohibici\u00f3n del di\u00e9sel en el centro de las ciudades, la canciller Angela Merkel hab\u00eda pedido a los representantes de los municipios alemanes que acudieran por segunda vez a Berl\u00edn. Mil millones de euros van a estar disponibles hoy, seg\u00fan la canciller, para que los municipios saneen su situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>De ellos, 350 millones de euros se destinar\u00e1n a la compra de autobuses el\u00e9ctricos. Sin embargo, los alcaldes de ciudades como Stuttgart y D\u00fcsseldorf se quejan diciendo que, aunque el dinero bastar\u00eda para electrificar los autobuses, no hay veh\u00edculos que comprar. Take Berlin&#8217;s mayor Michael M\u00fcller (SPD) who pointed out that not a single German manufacturer has brought an electric taxi to market. A missed opportunity, in particular now that the capital is looking to introduce a wide-ranging electric cab programme, according to <em>electrive&#8217;s<\/em> sources in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, even if vehicles can be bought locally or imported from abroad, it may be too late to prevent diesel-bans in Germany. A ruling by the Federal Administrative Court due on February, 28, 2018 is expected to lay the grounds for such restrictions to be introduced.<\/p>\n<p>To ask who is responsible for the mess is to point the finger at all players: at the carmakers and their fraudulent practices, the regulatory bodies and their inadequate measures, and municipalities that reacted too slowly.<br \/>\nIn the end, only a reduction of conventional traffic in general as well as electrification is needed.
