Seg\u00fan el nuevo sistema de medici\u00f3n WLTP, la autonom\u00eda supera incluso los 400 km. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El aumento de las prestaciones puede atribuirse a la mejora de la capacidad de la bater\u00eda, que cuenta con m\u00e1s de 70 kWh. Los detalles t\u00e9cnicos, que se dieron a conocer con el estreno del veh\u00edculo, mantienen la informaci\u00f3n algo vaga, pero revelan algunos datos seleccionados.<\/p>\n<p>La empresa b\u00e1vara afirma que los n\u00fameros no son todo lo que importa, sino lo que se esconde bajo el chasis convencional: El BMW iX3 ser\u00e1 el primer veh\u00edculo personal de BMW equipado con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/es\/2017\/12\/01\/bmws-next-gen-drivetrains-without-rare-earths-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">quinta generaci\u00f3n eDrive<\/a> y es la primera de una plataforma completamente nueva. La parrilla del cap\u00f3 est\u00e1 cerrada en la parte delantera y acentuada en azul. Las dos partes de la parrilla, tradicionalmente separadas, se han combinado en una sola, lo que supone pasar p\u00e1gina en lo que respecta a las opciones de dise\u00f1o de BMW. Esto tambi\u00e9n se muestra en el M2 de competici\u00f3n de BMW. El color azul BMW iX3 tambi\u00e9n se puede encontrar en la parte trasera del veh\u00edculo y el dise\u00f1o es bastante similar al del X3 normal con motor de combusti\u00f3n. La quinta generaci\u00f3n eDrive contiene el motor el\u00e9ctrico, la transmisi\u00f3n y la electr\u00f3nica de rendimiento en un solo componente. Otra novedad es que el motor el\u00e9ctrico se ha dise\u00f1ado sin utilizar metales de tierras raras. A este desarrollo se suman las nuevas especificaciones de la bater\u00eda, que ha mejorado sus caracter\u00edsticas de rendimiento, autonom\u00eda, tama\u00f1o y flexibilidad, seg\u00fan el fabricante.<\/p>\n<p>Los nombres internos de las plataformas sobre esta base son FAAR (arquitectura de tracci\u00f3n delantera) y CLAT (arquitectura de tracci\u00f3n trasera). Otras opciones incluir\u00e1n una bater\u00eda de 60, 90 y 120 kWh, pero los valores finales depender\u00e1n de la combinaci\u00f3n del sistema y de la evoluci\u00f3n de la c\u00e9lula de la bater\u00eda. The experience and knowledge generated from the production of the i-series (i3, i8) is being used to further improve performance, energy content, charging capacity and life expectancy. Furthermore, BMW will consolidate further battery know-how by moving the production in-house, and they announced their goal were to analyze and understand the cells, as well as to find potential suppliers for cell production to meet their specific emerging needs.<\/p>\n<p>It seems the point is more to improve their own competence in regard to battery knowledge, than to actually provide competition for suppliers, as BMW is looking to develop battery cells that suit their specific needs, instead of buying a general module. This is a major element of their strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flexible manufacturing and integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The iX3, it should also be mentioned, will be delivered with 150 kW charging capacity. The currently presented vehicle at the Beijing Motor Show will be released on the market in 2020 and will be manufactured in Shenyang, China. Further production expansion is also possible. By 2021 the serial version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/tag\/inext\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iNEXT<\/a> will follow, which is designed on the same platform. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/tag\/mini-electric\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E-Mini<\/a> will appear in 2019, but will not utilize the same technology.<\/p>\n<p>The flexible integration of the eDrive technology also allows for the expansion to next-generation BMW vehicles. Regardless of whether the vehicle is a BEV or PHEV, front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, the new propulsion system will be used in all future BMW group vehicles and represents a major cornerstone of their strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Next to the improvement and simplification of components, as well as the improved capacity and performance, the costs were also considered in development. BMW has already shown that they know how to make an electrified vehicle with the i3, and now the Bavarians are bringing home the harvest by consolidating the lessons learned into a new generation of serial vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Original copy: Christoph M.
