The demand for electric vehicles in Germany is constantly increasing. Germany now has the largest market for electric cars in all of Europe and around a quarter of all new electrified vehicles are delivered to German buyers.

Since the end of combustion vehicles has already been announced, it can be assumed that demand will continue to rise. According to a decision by the European Union, an EU-wide ban on combustion engines can be expected from 2035. In addition, there is also the cancellation of subsidies for plug-in hybrids, so that electric cars will be more in demand than ever.

In order to remain competitive, electric cars must be produced cheaply, sustainably and in large numbers. Robot and laser technology plays a key role here.
