Tesla significantly increases investment plans

Tesla has changed its investment plan, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). According to this, Tesla wants to invest between six and eight billion dollars per year until 2024. In addition, the Superchargers in the USA are to be opened to third-party brands.

Select Superchargers open for others in the EU

Tesla has now opened selected Supercharger stations in Germany for electric cars of other brands, as well as in Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg and Switzerland. This comes at the moment before the summer holidays in many European countries.

Tesla opens Superchargers to third-parties in Europe

After a test phase lasting several months, Tesla has made all of its Superchargers in the Netherlands accessible to electric cars from other brands. Pilot programs are also underway in Norway, France, Germany and Belgium for electric car drivers from other brands to use the Superchargers via an app.

Switzerland: Tesla opens charging park with lounge

Tesla has opened its 18th and to date largest supercharger location in Switzerland in Dietikon near Zurich. The special thing about it: In addition to 24 charging slots, it offers the first EV lounge in Europe. Previously, the Californians had only pushed the construction of lounges in the USA in combination with charging parks.

Tesla claims discrimination by NY courts

The Californian EV manufacturer says they face discrimination by New York’s infrastructure policies, as they only provide initiatives for providers that support both CHAdeMO and CCS. Clearly Tesla does not feel they should have to upgrade their chargers.
